I do this prep in november too :D got turkey, gammon, beef, lamb joints all in freezer, then prepped 120 pigs in blankets (family are obsessed ) pressies are all now bought and wrapped. Santa has even put together stockings ...Just need to buy the fresh products nearer the day. No fuss Christmas here we go!

Love the meat haul. Im going to ask a store butcher if they will cut a frozen buzzard down the middle. Then we can have 2 turkey dinners from it for sure. I love to have the bones and scraps for soup. We tend more towards a mixed pork/beef meatball picky food. I made your sausage rolls last year and they were delicious. Happy weekend all of you!

It's great you are so organised. We have done rosemary roasties and honey and mustard carrots and parsnips and will air fry them from frozen Christmas Day. We've also made lovely gravy and frozen that too. Going to get as much frozen as we can because my poor hubby is having heart surgery Christmas week. More important things to think about than a mad day cooking etc!! Daughter and son in law will be here to help but lets simplify!! I've never heard of pigs ears before. They look delicious too!
Great video hailey. 1st of all just gonns say i did that 3 cheese baked rice for dinner last night, delicious ( so sorry if i pestered you for that video!!) Glad theres leftovers because i want it again. !! Im with you on the flaky pastry, buy it rready made!! I make my own shortcrust, thats fine, but flaky , its a ball ache job, & hey, we not on the bake off are we!! 😊. I made sausage rolls tgus week , but they werent for Christmas, good job cos theyve all gone !! But will make some more & freeze them, i got some really good quality sausages which like you say is key, if your gonna spend time msking your own, then buy decent ones. Love those pigs ears!! And the mincemeat twists, although i dont like mincemeat husbabd does, so he will love these, & lot easier & less faff than mince pies!! Really enjoyed this video hailey, & love your singing !! 🎵 while you cook, you make me laugh with your comments & honesty. A joy to watch you
awwe. thx so much Karen im pleased you liked the rice dish. as for sausage rollsxi cooked them and steve was already in the kitchen hovering, hot savoury stuff like that, is steves kryptonite, so he got a bit then i cut them and threw them in the freezer, otherwise id be making them again lol im making and trying out a homemade stuffing today ready for xmas, gonna record it incase its yummy and i forget what i put in lol xxx

i would cook from frozen hunni, just add an extra 5 minutes or so, all ovenz are different, once the pastry is piffed and browned you should be good to go, air fryer would get best results if you have one xxxx

Yer they had a deal the other day for boneless Turkey and a pork loin for £18 (total weight of 4kg ) so thought why not… threw the sausages bacon, beef and gammon on too…. Only cost me with delivery £52 (there’s only 3 of us poss 4 if the brother turns up lol) so it’s tones of meat really xx

All looks great , unfortunately I can’t eat bacon or ham anymore due to their high salt content 😢, treating myself to a dover sole , the rest can have chicken 😂 as that is rest of families favourite with dates wrapped in bacon etc ,except for younger grandson , age almost 5 , who has always refused to eat meat for some reason ??!! Happy advent xx

Personally I think those prices are very expensive but guess depends where you shop where I am it’s lot cheaper! The sausages are pricy and the turkey and gammon but prices have gone up but Jesus 35quid for a gammon doesn’t matter you will all enjoy it anyway x
the gammon is nearly 4kg so its not bad, and we will have lots of all the joints of meat to slice and freeze for salads and sandwiches. its all good , prices are jumping up here and meat is one of the worst. have a great wknd mel xxx

Hailey I've got presents to wrap put up the decorations buy a few more presents and wrap them write and send cards buy me meat afood for Christmas we are having lamb this year the butcher I go to bones and rolls it Andy doesn't like gammon j do so I'll get a small one I'll have to sort freezers out this week well our cat has enough food for over Christmas sooty never came back I miss that cat one thing she did the Sunday she went missing was jump on my knee and she was on it a good while then she got off and went out it was like she was saying bye to me love fran xxxx
