I will allways remember in 1962 in Akron ohio I met the entire bonanza gang. I was representing Akron in the all American soapbox derby. The bonanza group was so nice to all champions that entire week. I will allways remember hoss the night that I received my 3rd place trophy. Hoss came up to me if a waunted to triad my trophy for his 3rd place oil can trophy. Such a nice man along with all of them. Thank you Chevrolet for being a great sponsor. Mark kordon Dover Ohio
Yes I’m from Akron too and I remember those days. Big stars would come to Akron every year for the Derby. Those were exciting days and wonderful memories.
@@gns423 thank you so much for your reply. Memories that will never leave me. Hope some day you come back to akron ohio. Enjoy some Luigi's pizza. Ohio
I met Michael Landon in Sonora California he was an awesome gentleman took time out to shake my hand and gave me an autograph and I was blessed the world lesser place without him Cheers Michael Landon heavens a better place with you there
No, no, those 3 were the opposite of sweet! Those 3 were cowboys who loved to fist fight. You call a fist fighting cowboy sweet?! Charles Nelson Reilly was sweet
Hahaha ! Very nice ! I loved ( still do ! ) that it had Dan Blocker AND Michael Landon. They must'a been on a holiday from filming " Bonanza" - I reckon . Very nice, and thank U, for sharing it with us all.
This was from the Emmy Award winning special "Swing Out, Sweet Land" (1970) which also starred Lorne Greene as George Washington, William Shatner as John Adams, Hugh O'Brien as Thomas Jefferson, Lucille Ball as Statue of Liberty, Bing Crosby as Mark Twain, Bob Hope and Ann-Margaret entertaining the troops at Valley Forge, Dean Martin as Eli Whitney, Ricky and David Nelson as opposing soldiers in the Civil War, Rowan & Martin as Wright Bros, Red Skelton, George Burns, Jack Benny, and many more.
Love it John Wayne Michael Langdon and Dan Blocker Too bad They Didn't have The Rest of the cast of Bonanza and Other western T.v.And Movie stars In The Skit But maybe they did in what Ever Special That was Because I Didn't Even Know that John Wayne Was in it
RLOL ! This is the funniest public service commercal I ever saw. Dan makes the cutiest and biggest Indian I ever saw. And Pilgrim Mike. Those grey hairs are showing! :) Adorable.
Tall man was short compared to Hoss who was taller, bigger, faster, stronger and smarter. If Hoss would have gotten mad at tall man, he would have tied him up like a pretzel....fortunately for tall man, Hoss was quick to forgive and slow to get angry.
The left hasn't discovered this, otherwise it would have gone viral. Wow, that is all I can say. The cash register?!?! Really? I was laughing way too hard.

As I recall the name of this special was "Swing Out, Sweet Land"
🤣🤣 That was great ! 3 great actors n humans in a time like no other.
John Wayne pilgrim, Little Joe Cadtwright, and Hoss Carwright of the ponderosa ranch nevada
Cartwright!
John Wayne was 6'4
Dan Blocker must have been 6'6 easy!
Wowza!
Miss these men...
💗💗💗
John Wayne should have remained in character as Genghis Khan. For a surreal history lesson no one would forget.
RLOL ! This is the funniest public service commercal I ever saw. Dan makes the cutiest and biggest Indian I ever saw. And Pilgrim Mike. Those grey hairs are showing! :) Adorable.
The good old days

Me like seeum them again..
Gypped.
Surprised "jew him down" wasnt used as well.
They did not have to, they used a real Jew in this film.
Dan was the man. Must be where they came up with the phrase.
I love Joe forever😍
DAN BLOCKER! where so i get to see all these skits?
The left hasn't discovered this, otherwise it would have gone viral. Wow, that is all I can say. The cash register?!?! Really? I was laughing way too hard.
Cute!
Lindo 😍
What is the show called that the skit is from, because John Wayne is introducing it and I didn't think he has his own show?........I enjoyed it.
Cartwright
My favorite Michael Landon joke:

John Wayne is United states of America 🇺🇸
Where can I see the rest of this?

What tv show was this skit from?
What special is this from?
This would be cancelled by the cancel culture now.
Lindos amorosos
Updated version we later find out these indians didn't have rights to the land it belong to another tribe

Amazingly politically incorrect for HollyMakesAWand-wood. @ 1:12, big Duke says ‘somebody’s gettin’ Gyped here.’. Referring to Gypsies, perchance?
Socially acceptable back then.
Got to love the good ol racist 70's
Is that Indian hoss??😂🤣😂
Yes
ROFL
Hating piutes? Impossible. They single handedly make sure Budweiser stays in business, while fleecing the white mans wallet in the casino.
First off its Ingines. . . and second off you are crazy for hating Indians. 90% of the men are goergous!!!!!. . . when they are young.
Me no find funny.
Thank god we got rid of the engines...
As a Native American I don't find this to funny
Russell Barton Wow, no sense of humor??
@@Anna-kw9jv Really?? Hmmmm That's one's opinion
wasn't the least bit racist, was it?
