You might have seen my comments somewhere else but in 1961 my Father took my cousin, brother, and me to The Shrine Circus in Kansas City at Municipal Auditorium, eventually The Three Stooges came out and did about 30 minutes of their routines, they talked to the kids about safety and not to do the eye pokes and slaps , the kids went wild, we watched The Three Stooges everyday after school and on Saturday morning before The Bowery Boys , we loved all The Three Stooges but Curly was the favorite, then Larry and Moe ,Shemp was great also along with Curly Joe and Joe DeRita, RIP THE THREE STOOGES

As they were now much older they softened up their act by toning down the slapstick. They became more kid friendly.
