Thats not gonna be moisturizing enough..i used emolene in the beginning with tretinoin it left dry patches on my skin...so I switched to lathering my face with boroline. The best decision i ever made
I use alofia facewash, dershine moisturizing cream non-comedogenic first, then tretinoin and mix salicylic acid ointment with aloe vera gel and glycerine, and top it up with joy skin fruits cream and zinc oxide to reverse the sun damage. And also boroplus for lips and Vaseline for the driest part of my face. And next morning I apply joy tinted sunscreen for hyperpigmentation and maxi soft lip care spf 15. All this including a bathing soap costs me around ₹500. And there's no need to shop for any product for a minimum of 2 months.
Please if you can discard the joy items they are not good. Some good moisturizers are dot and key ceramide moisturizer, re'equil ceramide moisturizer,moiz moisturizer, Cetaphil moisturizer, aquasoft fc, dermaco urea moisturizer .For sunscreen you have dot and key hyaluronic sunscreen , conscious chemist sunscreen. Aqualogica sunscreen, fix derma sunscreen, derma co 1% hyaluronic sunscreen. Just don't go for these brands like joy, mamaeath, wow, etc

Other than joy I use dershine moisturizing cream which has ceramides and costs around ₹80. It's not that the products are bad I just don't fall for marketing scams. Thankyou!

I've been using it for 6 years now. My skin is really at its best. I can't afford to buy these suggested and well over-marketed products which might be good who knows. I'm an icsi aspirant currently working on me and my appearance on a minimum budget and studying. Can't spend money like anything in the air. If the moisturizer must have Barrier repairing ingredients like ceramides then I've a great option for ₹80.

Mam i apply 5% niacinamide at pm routine on regular basis but I feel my skin texture is not getting even and look like very uneven. I think I'm doing over with niacinamide because I use 5% niacinamide and after I use a Moisturizer that contain and also a key ingredient is niacinamide so i think The texture of my skin is uneven due to the presence of Niacinamide in both (serum& moisturizer) is it correct or not tell me mam? No , its not correct,the niacinamide in moisturizer will always be in less concentration,also the moisturizer doesn't penetrate into skin as much as serum . And 5%niacinamide is correct concentration.Probabbly u should include salicylic acid in ur skincare.

I often hear/read that mineral/physical sunscreens are more recommended than chemical ones for tretinoin users. But I honestly *_hate_* mineral sunscreens since most of them usually leave a white cast on my face, even the tinted ones, and very hard to spread since they all dry down so fast that I end up looking like Casper the friendly ghost, esp since I'm of Southeast Asian origin so it clashes with my light brown skin tone. Can I use chemical sunscreen instead when I'm on tretinoin? Or do you have any recommendation of good mineral sunscreens that are sheer, blend well, and won't leave a heavy white cast/residue on your skin or _at least_ suitable for brown/darker skin tone?

My dermatologist recommended Bioderma Sebium Hydra Moisturizer/ Aveeno daily moisturizer, these moisturizers are really good. I use The Derma Co 1% hyaluronic sunscreen this suits my oily skin. I have used many Sunscreens but nothing suited me. My dermatologist recommended Acne UV Sunscreens Gel/ photostable sunscreen but currently I'm using derma co sunscreen.

Apply a pea size of cream on dry skin and follow it with a moisturizer ( Bioderma Sebium Hydra Moisturizer/ Bioderma Atoderm Intensive baume/ Aveeno daily moisturizer) Don't forget to apply the sunscreen!!!

In my opinion, this moisturizer is good and affordable. However, you might experience some breakouts. Instead, you can go for the Bioderma moisturizer. I've been using it for a year now, and believe me, it works like a charm. It's hands down one of the best moisturizers I've ever used.
You should've dear as long as you want to achieve healthy skin, and must if you're using tretinion or other active ingredients since they make your skin more sensitive
