Thanks for the refresher. They make a primer pocket check gauge for small and large primers. It is a go no go type of gauge . It eliminates testing by priming a case. Regards
Yup, The "go gauge" route is the way to go, when adjusting the dillon 600..... I like the BURSTFIRE gauges... The combo, "Go & No Go gauges" for small & large case pockets, are nice to have on hand.....
Matt, not sure what side screw you are referring to. There is really only one adjustment needed and that is on the case rod. Adjust the case rod so that there is enough tension to eliminate the crimp in the primer pocket when you move the handle.
@Just Along For The Ride mine has an Allen key on the side. I believe you loosen it and it is spring loaded. It supports the case from the bottom to help center the elevation.
Okay, I have never had to adjust mine. I just recently switched over to d-prime some military 308 and all I had to do was swap the small for the large primer pocket rod.
@@lithiumlounge6731 Yes , the first stage of the press should de-prime and resize. Prepping the brass is a process and everyone has there way. I de-prime using the Harvey de-primer tool and not my press because of the carbon that is left behind when de-priming. Also I do not want to resize the brass until I have cleaned it. There is a lot of useful information on the tube, so find what works for you. If you have any other questions please ask I will be glad to help.

How do you adjust the side screw?

Does this remove primer and take crimp out?
It only removes the crimp. I de-prime all the cartridge's prior before reloading.
@@justalongfortheride how do you deprime? I just ordered a lee progressive press would I be able to do it with that? I’ve never done this before
