Wow. That is one hell of a bathroom. It's gorgeous and I love how much attention you paid to every small detail. You have great taste!
I've seen your pictures on Insta prior to watching this and was curious why you decided against mixer taps - so thanks for explaining. I'm moving in a couple of weeks (fingers crossed) and I can't wait to not have to decide between burning and freezing my hands off any more so for me it's mixer taps all the way 😂
I still can't decide what's best with mixer or hot cold.
Looks really really great, sets a high level for the rest of the house, but worth the time and money.
That is an Awesome bathroom ...Love that floor and the fixtures you picked up ...Great job Jen !
I'm really impressed how the bathroom looks now. You did a great job there!
Beautiful bathroom, attention to detail spot on.
A chandelier would be a perfect in that room..
I thought about it but it doesnt have very high ceilings so one would constantly walk into it 🤣
I AM SO PROUD OF YOUUUUUU!!! Keep up the good work🙌🏻🙌🏻
1st time watching any of your videos, this was amazing.... went to see if there were more videos of your home, I was eager to see,,, but didn’t see any :/ would love to see other parts of your home :)
Renovations have somewhat been halted by the C-Virus. Maybe later in the year!
I have a house tour, tho!
Gorgeous bathroom! May you enjoy it and the rest of the house in good heath during these crazy times. Thanks for updating us and good luck with the rest of the house.
Absolutely beautiful! You did a great job!
I think that light will suits well with a simpler version of a classic murano chandelier.
This is my dream bathroom, it looks absolutely gorgeous! xx
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the floor. Thanks for sharing 👍
I love the renovation. Much better than what was there.
Great job all around!!! The floor and fireplace are amazing!!
Wow... I am absolutely jealous! That bathroom looks amazing, I love it so much! I love all the little details and how everything matches each other perfectly! Really good job with this and can't wait to see how the rest of the house turns out :) xx

Wow it looks great I like the style of the Bathroom 😄
Nice Video 😊
Lovely job. Not what I would choose as far as the black goes, but you've achieved a very both stylish and coherent result. Lots of work!
thanks!
Nice bathroom. Really nice. Love your videos as I live in Kent too. Have you stopped making them? No new content for a while. Keep up the good work.
Wow, das ist euch wirklich gelungen! Sieht großartig aus! Ich weiß nicht wieso, aber irgendwie hat mich der Stil ein bisschen an das Zaubereiministerium bei Harry Potter erinnert. :)
:D
It looks so amazing! Congrats! I also love love love divine savages :)
GOOD JOB! Toilet lever or handle=same-same. Could you be the only one in your part of England with a fireplace in your bathroom?=cool....
Gorgeous!!
You were talking about the changing the light. Incase you are not aware, UK regulations are strict for electrical work in a bathroom. The work must be carried out by an electrician qualified to part P. Building control must be informed usually by the electrician within 30 days of completion. You must also be given a safety certificate. Link to more information about bathroom zones. victoriaplum.com/blog/posts/electrical-products-and-bathroom-safety
What i mean is changing the lamp shade. Which anyone can do 😅
@@JenDre I must learn to listen more carefully. As you had been renting. Wonderd if you new about things you can't do in your own house.
A little. Though with these old houses there are often things that arent 100% kosher. For example our conservatory was built without planning permission. Attic was also converted without permission 🤣 but its been.. sort of forgiven now? Our solicitor sorted it anyway. Im pretty sure theres other stuff too
@@JenDre The house we moved into from London was built in the 1880s. Can understand the problems caused by previous owners not following rules.
You could have put two mixed, single taps in the sink, one on each side. With the two knobs on the tap. I've seen that done before. I've had separate taps before, and it is no fun.
hi jen, it’s really amazing that after you refurbished! i really love this!
so are you buy all the stuffs in online shops and then allocate to the workers to install?
and the tiles is offer by the workers or ??
gefällt mir richtig richtig gut.
Sieht richtig, richtig gut aus!
dankeeeee
If you know what The Alchemist (cocktail bar) looks like inside, your bathroom reminds me a little bit of it. :)
Hi am based in Gillingham Kent will you recommend your bathroom plumber tiler needed a bathroom refurb needed someone love the look of the bathroom.
👍 I like it :-) Hello from 🇺🇸(KY)
Love it, can't believe you didn't get mixer taps though, I'm sure you could've found something that looked good 😂
I really hesitated but it just felt wrong. There was a mixer before as well 🤣😂
Yes, Jen must be becoming a bit English. She used to be very derisive of hot and cold taps!
luckily it's my own house so I can use the waste plug if I need inbetween. I am keeping my opinion that separate taps in public bathrooms are the worst :D
@@JenDre I guess it's not as important as late Beethoven string quartets or the Beatles.
It doesn't sound like they isolated the building site and closed it off totally. But then maybe they did and an old house, an old bathroom just has dust in it. Looks like you kept everything in the original place, which is a good money saver because you don't have to move pipes and plumbing. No shower? Why did you decide to not put a shower in then and leave the bathtub out although that is a great looking bathtub.
Oh the old tub was awful and underneath it was leaky and rotting. As we moved the washing machine there was just so much room so made sense to have both seperately
Hi Jen, great video! I'm about to embark on a Victorian renovation and, like you, will need to rip the bathroom out. Can I ask about how much it all cost, approx? Sorry if you don't want to share, but would be good to know - including labour, etc. Thanks you, Alix x
Hi, sorry can't be of help as did not pay for labour!
Three pounds and 12 ounces.
Nice bathroom, re dust, used an angle grinder indoors once, boss made it very clear, use that ******* thing again and you are history. Did ask if that was a promise, suffered for that answer
Hope your ok in the lockdown?
Aren't you afraid that water splashing from the bathtub or sink will damage the panels? They are wooden, aren't they?
Yes its MDF. So far no issues but havent used the bath yet so cant say. The paint is wipeable though 😁
@@JenDre Good, hope you won't have problems with them. This is beautiful bathroom :)
We did want a backsplash for the sink at first but ran out of tile and each box was 96 tiles so didnt want to have to buy that many if we only needed, like.10 🤣
!0 out of 10 for the bathroom especially the floor. Please don't keep apologising for you choices. It is your house and not for anyone else to say how you should do it. (This comment has been UV sanitised and is certified free of any virus.)
Bathroom lighting in your style bathroom is awkward as lighting has to comply to regs, because of moisture.
Hello Jen...just a random question...is your red hair real? I'm a red head, but nobody believes I'm of German descent
No its fake
By the way how much money you spent on renovating the bathroom ?
Not sure! Started keeping really good track but then, as always, you end up needing loads more stuff and I lost track. Also had to take out a loan for it so it's not even really my money haha!
Jen Dre ok
Where’s the washing machine?
now in the kitchen
Tell me something... I don't know aware of all that do the best you can...I know very sorry ...
I want you to renovate and decorate the house I don't have
Nice bathroom, a larger bath would have looked better, that one looks lost. Bank balance now a good few grand lighter.💋💋👸
It's a 170cm bath and only has few cm each side left so couldnt have fit anything much larger 🤣
