USB 2.0 to IDE SATA 2.5 3.5 HDD Adapter Converter Cable

Aliexpress product, from seller JAYMING ZENG.
Do not buy this product.
Adapter gets very hot. 160-170 celsium.
This is very bad quality.
And the adapter housing is not glued.
2 adapter is out of work. Exploded.

Hi, I bought the same product from Ebay but as soon as I connected it to a SATA 3.5" disk (using the power side - 4 color cables) there was an explosion and the power supply went dead (as well as the room's power fuse). I tried to open the supplier's box (as in 3:19 ) but the pieces wouldn't open. They where very tightly glued together. So I ordered a second item from ebay and this time I made the connections to a different disk (a laptop 2.5"SATA) with a lot of care! Even so, it happened again: When i finally put the plug to the wall outlet, it made a big spark an everything ewnt off! I tried to ask the seller for advice or a user manual (which was missing from the package), but he bearly understood any english. He gave me advice on how to follow the post tracking! I could use the rest of the articles in managing a 3.5 HDD with a power supply from a PC. A technician told me he thought the chinese poewr supply is faulty. I'm afraid to make the same mistake for a third time. Thankfully both disks were not damaged . I can read them through other equipment! Do you have any ideas?
