Mother here, and it's "quasont" lol. When eating French pastry, French accent required. Just bec. I am a Jersey girl, doesn't mean I have to sound like one. I will gladly do my pronunciation on camera in 2 weeks. Also, make us a reservation for this breakfast.

Thanks for another great video Kristen! As Brits we find it fascinating to hear people from the US say 'crussont' as we tend to pronounce it like the French: 'Kwahson'. Same with Marscapone which we pronounce 'mahscaponay'. There are so many others, it's really interesting, such as parmesan (Pahmezan rather than the US pronunciation) and we say the 'h' at the beginning of 'herb' (hurb). I love all the different ways of pronouncing things between the two countries, it's really interesting - perhaps your mum is coming over all British/European on you! 🤩

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago. Excellent value, great crab cake eggs Benedict! Buffet had nice options. Loved the overnight pats and fruit among other things 😊

When on vacation train early, eat real light breakfast 🥚 hit the beach 🏖️/parks & eat a good size dinner, that’s it. Can’t do buffets for breakfast, too much food, get tired, lazy, sluggish. Great channel, always smash 💥 like/subscribe, rate & review so we keep getting new content. Love ❤️ the channel.

I worked in a restaurant that had the best hummus in the city. That's not just my opinion, people ordered it all the time and we had plenty of other amazing items for them to choose from. Every so often somebody would attempt to say just that one word with a middle eastern accent. It wasn't a big deal because you never know if someone spent a significant amount of time in that area, but it's funny because when people switch from their native tongue for one word it winds up putting a lot of emphasis on that word. Now that I think about it, my white ass wants to attempt it at a Japanese restaurant. I'll pick one word to really knock out of the park. This is fun, I'm glad you brought up your mom saying croissant.

It’s the best kept breakfast/brunch secret for an Epcot day! 😆👏❤️ before the pandemic I’d always tell people about this place, I’m so glad it finally came back and honestly the price is literally about the same. It may have gone up one or two dollars I think maybe it used to be 21.95, it’s a fantastic deal. Do they still have the shrimp and grits breakfast dish that had the poached eggs? Gaahhh it was good!!!!

My wife and I were there the first week of May and we had lunch. O my lord, the burgers were delicious,amazing and so filling we both went without the bun.! I also had the Parker house rolls. Filling but not worth the price even with the various cheeses.
Oh, I am now adding this to my list for our September trip!! Do you think they would notice me putting cinnamon rolls in a ziploc to go!!!!

And as her mum is American and not French and still pronounces it correctly exactly proves that you don't have to be French to pronounce it correctly. My post was factually correct. This looks delicious but many people like myself go to Disney World on vacation from other places like other states and countries. Time is money in Disney and when your time is limited while on vacation you are not going to travel to all these other resorts for a meal unless you really want to eat there.
Did you have to pay to park at the resort or did they let you in for free after showing a dining reservation? Would they charge you to park if you were going to try for a "walk-up" reservation?
You don’t have to pay to park at the resorts for dining. If you have a reservation you just show security & they let you in. If you want to try for walk up it’s a risk because some security will let you in, some won’t. But you shouldn’t have a problem getting a reservation at Ale & Compass

Ofc you should pronounce 'croissamt' coorectly. It is a french word. I think the American way of pronouncing it is more difficult than the correct way.
