Job 22:27 (NLT)
"You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him."
We should pray consistently. When we pray, God hears our prayers, he answers prayers. But, often we get out of practice. For example, I am just getting back into the gym - and when you quit the gym for a bit, and then go back. There is almost always pain associated with the return. Prayer to God is not like that. Sometimes, we move away, not intentionally, but it happens - I'm reminding you of this, this morning, that if you do (move away from Him) there is no pain in the return to God. You pray, he hears, and he answers. Prayer is a dialogue where you can talk to God. It's like two old friends, just picking up where they left off. That’s how you can fulfill the vow. Always pray.
