Benny even if she was abusive but she raises him to not be so soft and not be afraid to put his foot down. Plus he is also street and people smart

This is why George was named the trustee. He can always get the upper hand over a spoiled brat like his niece Veronica. At first she did everything she could to get the money. George is the only slowly teaching her how to work, that money can't be just given to you. It has to be earned. The fact she tries to get others to do things for her with her good looks too. All backfires. Veronica could tease him for so long...but calling her bluff because she doesn't want to sleep with him. Brilliant!

All that training with his wife Angie, who was a spoiled brat and became kinder and cared more about others because of him. It's the reason Claudia chose him as the trusty. Knowing he would make her daughter work and teach her it's not about the money. That she has to earn it herself. She does start to learn that considering she decides to go to college...because she wants to make designer purses and such....
Yes but she stopped because a relative (Arturo the guy who asked George about his flight and Bus from LA) contested the will and all the money was frozen. it was never resolved Veronica got another job on another episode called Trying to save money he and angie placed a bet as to who spends large amounts of money. Veronica helped Angie steal all of George's money in Poker.
I miss this show. 2:03 - 2:04 always cracks me up 😂

Claudia definitely made the right choice by making George the trust. Not only he knew that she wasn't mature enough to get her inheritance, but he knew she wouldn't be able to use her looks to skate by in life and got her to get her work done. He's good
