Great video. Regarding the "corporate length", my beard must be 1/2 inch or less for my job. I like longer beards, but as a brand new beard owner, I'm having a hard time judging the length. When I did my first trim using my #4 guard (1/2 inch) going with the grain, its not even cutting the hairs. I pulled out a stray hair and it measured 1 inch long, but the #4 guard isn't even cutting those. So to maintain a 1/2 inch beard, are they referring to individual hair lengths, or the volume of the beard that protrudes from the face as a whole?
Still one of the best videos on RUclips. I'm transitioning from mustache and goatee to corporate because I have very sensitive skin on my neck line area and I can trim instead of razor it more frequently, giving a fresh look everyday instead of once every 3 days (or destroying my skin). I'm having trouble finding the upper line for corporate, but this videos helped me, thank you!
I need to share this with my hubby. He started growing his beard during quarantine and kept complaining about how itchy it was. I ❤️ his beard, so anything I can do to get him to keep it is key!
Let me know what he thinks! For the itch a good beard balm and brushing it out (spreads the moisture and gets rid of any dead skin) is key! The wash and conditioner will also help but the first two will make a bigger difference!
How much of a length difference do I go from the inner towards the outer of the beard? Like if I start with 6 on the goatee area, do I go 4 around that area and then 2 for the edges?
I've played with that and you can have a decent difference if you like the look. Only 1 time have I made it too extreme and had to trim my goatee area extra. I think that was a 4 on the sides and a 16 on the goatee so you should be just fine.
It’s a beard style. Essentially beard clean cut, shaped and styled for business under standards that deem beards acceptable. (iE shorter, even, clean cut beard. 🤓)
What beard care questions do you have?

Ooh good question! I would say 1/2in from the face (not beard length). So I would say you’re ok but you could go against the grain if you’re worried.

Grew out my beard to about 18mm. It never itches.
Once you are past that initial growth it's not bad especially if you use some beard oil.
Why do you keep saying corporate beard? What does that even mean?
Corporate beard is a short length that is appropriate for the office. The length in the thumbnail photo is a corporate beard length.
Imagine all the leftovers you can eat from a soup dinner
