The only reason I knew what it was was because I had a book on the subject by American Girls which I only got because I went through puberty early. Like, eight years old early....

Thats not the reason well its close but now periods happen after you hit puberty because your ready for a baby and your building up something hard to spell that i wont say because im lazy but because your not pregnant your body begins releasing it however it can build up which means every month your body uses blood as a way to make sure it all leaves (or atleast thats what i think im remembering i dunno i forget alot and begin thinking of crazy ideas)

It's a bit more like a contest, since we can't animate all of the stories that get submitted - we only upload one a week - we have to choose which submissions we produce very carefully. When I was 11 I got my period and some girls know what I'm talking about so it all started when I was in yr 6 I was sitting on the carpet doing some art work when I felt weird down in my stomach so I ask if I could go to the bathroom. And my teacher said sure when I got there I went in one of the stalls and checked my pants and I see a red patch of blood I knew what it was. My first period I had pads but... I didn't know how to use them so I went to go ask a teacher aid and she told me how to use them and she said I think you may need more during the week so she gave me some more so I got home I told my mum and she got me some to last for 3 weeks. Well that's my story I hope you enjoyed it😀

I also didn't care when I saw the blood,but then again,my underwear was dark blue so it wasn't red.And when I got cramps I thought it was something I ate.I only noticed when I had to go to the bathroom.When I saw the red on the toilet paper,I knew exactly what it was.I called my mom from the bathroom.And we did't have any pads,since this was my first period,and my mother used tampods .So she had to call someone to bring some over.I cried a lot that night but now,after about 3 years or so of having it,I'm not scared.It's just a big inconveinence when I want to go swimming.
