I love how that was a consistent occurance throughout the show. It really sold Hanks reaction to finding out Walt was Heisenburg in s5. From season 1, I was always curious as to how hank would react when he discovered the truth. Would his love for his brother in law prevail over his hatred for Heisenburg? If he had caught s2 Walt, probably. By S5 walt had taken advantage of and hurt hank so many times that there was no way hank could reconcile it

I believe the RV had been moved to another location for its destruction, but if I were Walt, I’d want to get as far away as possible from that vehicle in case Hank finds them.
Jesse's distraught expression can be seen as one of two things. It could just be sadness over losing his RV that he had spent a lot of time in and formed a pseudo-relationship with. But I prefer to think of it as being sad over his dead friend. At this point in the story, Combo is dead, and the RV he helped Jesse get is his legacy in the story. With it gone, his role is essentially over.

I got some sort of "goodbye" or end of an era" feeling while watching the RV being destroyed in this scene, and the lyrics of the song applies perfectly with the tone and the feelings of the scene which leads me to believe that the writers knew it as well and that's why they chose the song. Clever.

Feel like this is the exact moment where the shows writers cut the show in half, marking a definite line between first half Breaking bad and second half Breaking Bad.
The crushing of the RV is symbolic of the end of the first era of the show, which was mostly just Walt and Jesse working alone without much of a structure to their operation. It's probably no coincidence that we start learning more about the ruthlessness of Gus Fring at this point, and the whacking attempt on Hank occurs in the next episode.

Kinda reminds you of that epic ballad that played over Walt’s death, his Baby Blue. Maybe this time it’s Jesse’s love song and instead of an empire it was to the one place he felt safe from the heat, cold, dealers, police. The first place his life had changed forever, and not to mention the last piece he had left of brother Combo
It wasn’t about Jessie but more about who Jessie was working with/for. Hank knew Jessie himself was no threat but at the time it seemed like Jessie was working with someone powerful (heisenberg) that was able to find out who Hank’s wife was and wasn’t above using her to get him to leave. The fake phone call also served as a threat of sorts since now Hank knows whoever he’s trying to catch knows who his wife is and thus now she’s potentially in danger. If heisenberg wasn’t Walt and if he knew who hank’s wife is, he could have gotten her killed.

A lot of people don’t realise just how significant Hank’s phone call is in the overall plot of the story. Before Heisenberg was just a case he was chasing so he didn’t have to go to El Paso. This phone call made it deadly personal.
I tell ya- they could teach an entire class on the actor who plays Hank and rage. The way he turns plum, his veins, facial expression, tone.... You can literally watch him see red. Amazing

It's rare that a show can make an object feel like a character. It being destroyed didn't feel like "oh, sucks their lab is gone, on to the next one", it felt like an important member of the show dying, which it honestly was, that RV probably had more screen time than most of the smaller side characters like Huell and Jane.
Lol The way Walter looks at Jess. I think he heard him sobbing XD. He just doesn't appreciate how he feels. For a young guy like Jessie, this has been like a dream, making magic happen and he's been learning a bunch too. So this is like a chapter of his life ending. The RV was like a rite of passage for him as a cook.

When Hank comes running through the hospital, the saturation was much more gritty and dark to symbolise his state of mind. But when he got the call from Marie, saturation went back to normal.

It's rare that a show can make an object feel like a character. It being destroyed didn't feel like "oh, sucks their lab is gone, on to the next one", it felt like an important member of the show dying, which it honestly was, that RV probably had more screen time than most of the smaller side characters like Huell and Jane.

Lol The way Walter looks at Jess. I think he heard him sobbing XD. He just doesn't appreciate how he feels. For a young guy like Jessie, this has been like a dream, making magic happen and he's been learning a bunch too. So this is like a chapter of his life ending. The RV was like a rite of passage for him as a cook.
That and that was the last thing he ever got from his friend combo before he died

So mad and angry was Hank that he was fooled by a hillybilly
When Hank comes running through the hospital, the saturation was much more gritty and dark to symbolise his state of mind. But when he got the call from Marie, saturation went back to normal.

That RV carried Walter and Jesse through so many travels , escapes , cookings , drugs , fights , agreements , disagreements and so much more.That RV was the Hodor of Breaking Bad.And Hodor was the RV of Game Of Thrones.It is one of the most heartbreaking moments of Breaking Bad for sure.
