Moscow 🇷🇺 Ostafyevo Estate Russian Parnassus

Ostafyevo Estate, also known as Russian Parnassus, was owned by the Vyazemsky and later the Sheremetev families. It was a center of Russian spiritual life, with literary figures such as Pushkin and Gogol visiting. The estate was transformed into a museum by Count Sergey Sheremetev, but was closed in 1930 and later turned into a health resort. In 1989, the museum was restored and reopened.
