I'm always blown away by Dylan's playing ability. He is truly amazing, and anyone trying to throw shade on his playing is 100% jealous of what he can do, and the effect he has on their girlfriends.

I like the video of him doing a live tv morning talk show in NZ after winning a drum-off contest at the age of 14. Phenomenal! I believe his father was a percussionist also. Probably where he picked up his Latin influences. I can hear Polynesian rhythms in a lot of his videos too.

Saw this years ago and glad to see it again,I've been playing drums for about 40 yrs ex Auckland now in the Tron and still going strong at 70.Dylan would be so much better now after all these years.Keep up the great work Andrew.
I came across Dylan's videos a few years ago. He is a phenomenal drummer. And incredibly he actually came to my hometown of Arlington Texas of all places and played at the downtown pavilion. The only problem with that is that I found out 1 week after he was here. 😧😫😭 I was crushed, angry and devastated. I couldn't believe I missed him. There's not a snow ball chance in hell that he will ever be getting back my way. This happened a good 2 years ago, and I'm still not over it. lol
UPDATE: So...............I just went to Dylan's RUclips channel to see if anything has come out recently. And there was a video posted 4 days ago of him doing a short solo piece. He was awesome......as always. I then glance down at the description to see where he is doing this at, and what do I read?...........AUSTIN FREAKING TEXAS!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!! He was just in my area....AGAIN??!! It was only days ago that he was here! Granted it's not in my hometown. But Austin is like a 3 hour drive for me! I can't believe I missed him again. THIS IS KILLING ME!! lol This has got to be some sort of cruel joke being played on me!

Well I'm not a musician! I love to the watch guitar bass and drum play throughs and singers. Metal is a pason. As a kid my first artist I listen to was Chuck Berry now listen to some of the heaviest Metal that you come across.

Firstly this is quite old. Notice the dude with the digital camera? lol. Secondly when you get to this level of skill it kinda becomes a matter of opinion. Its like watching this and then watching Dave grohl do a solo is night and day. Say what you want but you can throw opinion out the window when you compare the two. Technicality, speed, groove, rhythm and lets even throw in the stick tricks. lol he's up there with the greats. Shocking he isn't as big in the drum community.
