I was searching for eggless vegetarian version of moon cake and found yours. Looks good. This is almost same like our kozhakattai, we add cardomom for the mung bean mixture for the fragrance and add ghee too. Thanks for sharing this recipe 👍
Thanks! No the skin isn’t the chewy kind. It’s hard to explain the texture… if you ever had sugar cookies, when you bite it it breaks apart, because of the rice flour. It is quick light. If you want mochi like texture it will be more glutinous flour. Thank you!
