Nice comparison. What is the foil front wing size? If you use smaller front wing, could you go faster?

Front wing was 670cm², but this clip is old now, I now have new wing sizes. In those condition I would take a 370cm² and a 6m² sail, probably would be faster yes.

lol what do you mean, that a big fish would think that tha foil is another fish that moves in the water ? I don't think so, but who knows !

Great video. Do you have to shim the Afs mast in an non AHD board so the fuselage is parallel with the bottom of the board?

Normaly all AFS foil are raked 3° from factory, so you don't have to put a lot more.
If you want you can put 1° more for difficult conditions.

Under 15/20 knots of wind, foil is more fun. Over 30 knots foiling become harder, so windsurf is more fun.

I don't care if the regular Windsurfer is faster the ride of the foil is much smoother so your body gets less beaten up riding a foil.

Fin can for sure gybe tighter. But with the foil it is easier to keep the speed at the exit !
Yes with the foil you can point higher and also go more downwind.

In top speed the fin is faster, but on average the foil is very close and sometimes faster !
