I see a lot of you commenting about how the police should have done more. Their hands are often tied, especially if someone doesn't want to press charges. I have no knowledge of what happened, but since they did separate the two and he ended up with the van, we can conclude they linked back up. Unfortunately, I do wonder if a subsequent physical altercation occurred and instead of grabbing her face, he grabbed her neck. It sounded as though she wigged out on him (per her own admission, his statement, and eyewitness accounts), which is what led up to what we're seeing in this video. That absolutely doesn't justify his PRESUMED actions, but it fills in a lot of missing pieces. His phone records will likely shed more light on the events that unfolded in the following days (after this).

When asked ... he lied to the police and said he “pushed” her. Adults ... responsible adults, that claim to call each other ... “the love of their lives” ... do not respond in any kind of adverse physical manner. Basic relationship skills. I do question the police non-arrest after he admitted to slapping her. Thats domestic violence and grounds for arrest in my opinion. May God Bless their family.
Im an experienced family therapist. After watching the long detailed body cam on another site, these r my thoughts. * Despite handling the situation with calm compassion, the cops made no attempt to find out if she had a safe place to go for the night, like a motel room. They had ordered them both to stay separated for the night to relax and decompress. However, they took the boyfriend to a motel and left her alone with her van to fend for herself, despite how upset and fragile she was. They didnt assist her in finding any kind of emotional support and that really concerns me. Its possible that she may hv been abducted by a predator, considering her state of mind. What really stood out was how friendly, apologetic, and cooperative the boyfriend was with the cops versus how completely uncooperative he is weeks later in possession of her van, and safely back home in Florida without her. VERY DISTURBING INDEED 💔.
I watched the video and there is two things that bothered me in it. SHE WAS SAYING IT WAS HER FAULT , CLASSIC ABUSE FEAR OF THE MAN COMING BACK AT HER. SECOND SHE SAID SHE DIDNT GRAB THE STEERING WHEEL AND SAID SHE DID AT FIRST. THEN CHANGED THE STORY TO DIDNT. WHEN THEY SEEN THE WHEEL GRABBED AS HE REPORTED THE COPS WAS FOLLOWING THEM. AND MAYBE SHE GRABBED THE WHEEL TO GET THE COPS ATTENTION.
It's her fault because the argument is because she wants to end it. She probably wanted him to go home and leave her with another group maybe those people who called 911 or have him fly home. But I feel this argument was a break up one.
I like how everyone here is saying he wont talk to police, he must be guilty. Yup looks bad in public opinion, but even if you are 100% INNOCENT NEVER TALK TO POLICE. They suspect you as a suspect, nothing you can say will help you, it all to be used against you, not for you.
Police NEVER should have left Gabby with Brian. The police should have questioned Gabby further, and hoping she would have told the police she didn't feel safe with Brian. The police should have made Gabby call her mother...right there on the spot.
@Steve Nicholson you misunderstood my comment. You have two people traveling together...it's being posted on social media...one of them disappeared, the other shows up at home in the missing persons vehicle. I'm not a law professor, but I play one on TV! If that guy was poor, the police would have already arrested him. Rich people get treated differently...that's why I said that his parents must have money.
I saw the whole thing, she was the aggressor (and an emotional wreck too) and somehow got to sit in the police car with AC and water while the BF with scratches, claw marks and bruises all over him got to stand on the side of the road and chose not to press charges even thought she admitted to hitting him while he was driving which is why they got pulled over in the first place... Double standards for sure.
I don’t see that. She seems to act as a most of young chicks would. Just crying as a little girl. But he is acting suspicious. Usually guys get nervous and upset, and normal reaction to say: “She started first! She provoked all the time! And etc.” But he is acting as nothing happened, looks like he used already. For me he looks like manipulative jerk. If I would cry, because my husband said a stupid thing, or was acting careless, he would be mad and couldn’t speak with a smile, he would immediately get in mode with adrenaline and testosterone high. He would be visible upset or angry. Something really wrong with this guy.

Poor kids in a relationship with issues really needed direction and couples counseling, its cases like this were i think defunding police and implementing required counseling for people involved in domestic violence could save alot of pain and anguish. Especially for young couples that haven't developed the tools to deal with big issues. They both seem like great people that ran into something they weren't able to cope with, think the son went home for guidance and was steered down the wrong path by his father who doesn't want to lose his son instead of teaching his son how to be a man.

Yup. And if he gives up that right..."anything" he says "will" be used "against him" in a court of law. People need to pay attention to those specific words.
We have so many questions in this case. Who talks to the police about an aggressive argument with a girlfriend and give a smile watch the video slowly, he smiled. Where is the van that she drove? How he got out of the hotel that the police brought him? How did he behaved at the hotel? Did he threaten her somehow?i Could she possibly be sacred of him and maybe is hiding? My suspicion is that he definitely hurt her.
Note to young people in a relationship. When it’s come to this, getting physical w/each other it only gets worse. Get out and move on before it gets to the next level.
Even one physical altercation is too many. I've sixty three and I've never hit anyone in my household or anyone I was dating. There should be zero tolerance for that. Accepting it one time, means accepting it forever.
I would say you should be extremely cautious about relationships that begin online. She’s from New York and he’s from Florida. Was this their first time meeting? If so, then what a dumb idea. People are NOT the same in person as they are on the internet. She’s probably dead because of this. Ugh, you feel sorry for her but you also don’t. This could all have been avoided if she didn’t fall for the silly romanticism of meeting your soul mate on the internet.
Is he the R/O of the Van? Maybe they split and he left her standing where she was and someone picked her up? Maybe she was the one that took off? He should have called her parent's either way said "look this happened, we are no longer a couple, I no longer have her interest in mind, shes at......." if nothing else to keep form looking like suspect #1, to help her get to her parent's with any into. We don't know what happens behind closed doors, she did attack him, maybe she flipped? Maybe he flipped? But what I see mostly is just man eaters wanting to just blame the man outright he may be guilty as hell, but there's soo many things in reality it could be.....one thing is for sure, without a doubt, if there's not a body found soon...there likely will never be with the wildlife in that area.
Toxic couple spending too much time stuck with each other in one van, what could go wrong? He does not seem alarmed, sad, or concerned that she has gone missing. Suspicious indeed.
I feel like she was in tears because they just got pulled over and his face had wounds and his arm had scratches and red marks caused from her. Unfortunately, I do wonder if a subsequent physical altercation occurred and instead of grabbing her face, he grabbed her neck. It sounded as though she wigged out on him (per her own admission, his statement, and eyewitness accounts), which is what led up to what we're seeing in this video.

He's a victim. She abused him. If it wasn't for the double standards, she would be in jail
@@pali.prince6162 even so , you can always leave people and break things off. Walk away. Is that punch and the scratch enough reason to kill someone? For me no, but the view varies. Also let us not forget that he took her phone and threatened to leave her...an ass move really. I think this would have ended better if she just went to spend a night in jail and ended things with each other. But then, we still can't point who the victim is as we barely know the whole story amigo.
@@RandomRobotOnRUclips how can police jail someone if no one wanted to press charges?
@@RandomRobotOnRUclips first off, we don't know if he killed her or where she is. I'm just judging off this one incident. My guess they had another argument, egos and pride in play and they decided to leave each other and not talk anymore. She had mental problems and probably killed herself as she realized she wouldn't she married anymore. This is my theory but like I said, I and we don't know shit lol

Take this as a lesson if you have the opportunity to escape a violent person you are in a relationship with leave. No second doubts.
In light of what may have happened next, this is an enlightening documentary of the stop. Exemplary police behavior and treatment of the pair. The stars were not in the couple’s favor, sadly. Who would have imagined!?
In my opinion, Gabby has attitude problem. I mean we don’t really know how they are behind those sweet, romantic posts. And probably the guy has an attitude problem as well and got tired of all the drama plus the pressure of social media he just wanted out. But he should have explained whatever it is he needs to explain to the Gabby’s family.
He has the right to remain silent
Did he threaten her somehow?i
Could she possibly be sacred of him and maybe is hiding?
My suspicion is that he definitely hurt her.
Wow. This us heartbreaking
People on social media always portray a perfect life and it’s actually not as good as they show
Chris and Shannan Watts, perfect example.
Exactly
Young generation thinks it cool.to be sheep and follow the trend
So many people live their pretend lives on social media nowadays.. It is kinda sick 😩
Anything to be famous, the van life is a scam.
Note to young people in a relationship. When it’s come to this, getting physical w/each other it only gets worse. Get out and move on before it gets to the next level.
This is a great advice! I 100% agree!
Even one physical altercation is too many. I've sixty three and I've never hit anyone in my household or anyone I was dating. There should be zero tolerance for that. Accepting it one time, means accepting it forever.
Very true...
Most of us are actually sane and grew up with morals...so the "next level" (murder) isn't even an option. Only cowards kill their loved one's.
So they gave her the van and gave him a hotel, yet he comes home with the van minus the girl?
Yup.
And gets a lawyer.
The hotel room was only for a night.
Yep..sound about white.
Everyone knows. It’s just a matter of time until they arrest him.
If that van is clean, this will be hard. One smidge of blood though, he's toast

He's staying silent because he killed that poor young lady.

The fact that hes smiling while telling the story and shes.in tears speaks volumes.
I feel like she was in tears because they just got pulled over and his face had wounds and his arm had scratches and red marks caused from her. She was probably afraid she was going to catch a charge.
Her body has been found so I don’t want to get too deep into it but yea…. They were toxic for each other.

His lawyer says his client is remaining silent because he is now a person of interest. He wasn't named a person of interest until yesterday. He had 14 or more days to say something before that. This guy is hiding what he did.
Yeah, he got his car and just left, she probably jumped off a cliff.
@@waty0usay1 Except is was HER car, not his.
why did the police take 2 wks to consider him person of interests? dipshits. they could hv interrogated him before he got a lawyer.
No.... Why would she not tell her parents. So he took her only sorce of contact to her parents and her purse and wallet with all her money I beable to pay for hotels and travel home? She doesn't look like a hutchhicker type! At all!!!

@Dank Dank it facilitates travel on the cheap.
@Dank Dank It allows them to believe that they are living free and without damaging the earth (all fake). There would be camera footage of that for sure.

She hit him. She was the primary aggressor. He defended himself. Nothing came of that incident in Moab except for one night separation so they probably fought again soon after and he snapped and hurt her or left her
If you actually see the full video of this police interaction you will see that she was the aggressor and she was gonna get charged but they the police decided to separate them they drove him to a hotel and she took the van. Whatever happened after that who knows. News always lies but the video doesn't. Untill this guys talks unfortunately we really don't know what happened all we can do is assume.

Even if what you're saying is True, it still would have made the most sense for him to CONFESS early on!!
I understand waiting a day to cool off...even if he left her in a deserted place alive & out of anger.... common sense would have had him Admit it the next day, knowing darn well she could have died being left alone.
Either way he's going down because it was a callous act on his part.
It's not helping by him waiting to confess and acting quiet and shadey like he doesn't know anything either
