“I won’t say I’m a pro” from an awesome creator with a half a million followers was humbleness to the level of an actual saint. Lol Thanks for the tips :)
It’s only when I started I appreciated the work that goes into content creation and the imaginative talent involved. Nothing but admiration for your videos Peter. I’ll keep trying 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
I love what you said about show, then tell after. I learned this the hard way after over a year of vlogging and I agree so much. Casey does this incredibly well too. Just jump into the action and then explain either as it's happening, or after it's happened. Great points overall that are rarely talked about, man!
I’ve been doing this for a while and thanks to your video it has just clicked to me that I have been using the word “everyone” instead of “you”. I’ve been talking to my audience not to the individual which in hindsight has made my videos less personal. Thanks for the value mate !
Solid advices! thank you so much for being so open, clear and straight to the point. lots of youtubers waste too much time of the viewers for just only few seconds worth of interest at the end
I love your vids where you provide that hook/preview/"cliffhanger" of what you're about to demonstrate... It's a great way to teach (I've been teaching for over 10 years) and providing a preview of what I'm going to teach my students helps provide context to them and hopefully, intrigues them as well!!
Hey Pete, you are a great inspiration to me. I am working extra hard so that I may building an extremely amazing studio like yours in future. Your studio is so peaceful and calm. Thank you so much. All the the way from Kenya, East Africa!
I have watched more videos than I should on vlogging and have not gotten down the story telling portion of vlogs. So, I don't do it. But, when you said to record the action that you are doing and THEN talk about the experience, it clicked in my mind. I'm going to try that. Thank you for your top notch content!
I want to start off by saying your channel has been very informative and inspirational to me. Thank you! I do have a couple of questions I would like to ask. Maybe you could help me out. I’d truly appreciate it. 1. How do you organize you footage in a way where you can pull it effortlessly, well seemingly effortlessly, for future videos? 2. What’s your storage and backup setup? 3. How long do you keep your footage? Here’s to continued success 🍻
The frost 15 seconds is exactly what I went through with the video I posted today😂😂😂😂 thanks so much for stopping by my IG and commenting on the video. Thanks for all the ideas and inspiration.
Great advises Peter! amazing work as usual! In this video for example, i would have liked the text animation with Tip 1, 2 and 3 and the title for each tip. And in the end a little recap of the important things from the tips!
Great tips and video! On the forthcoming course if you bring up the specifics on the how to do and not just general tips I’m interested especially about how to ride that YT horse and how to organize the different videos as to not waste time and deliver videos clear on message and to the point. Then I’m in.
I’ve been looking for ways to keep the talking head interesting! Love the way you explained and gave us awesome insight! Thank you, definitely will use in my RUclips videos! 💯✔️🔥
ah yes, evil garbage toss ;) sounds good, I’m a give it a try. Gonna try my first vlog this week. Just been doing howto’s so far. I’ve been held off by the whole flow thing. fingers crossed and thanks for kind advice
The advantage of you all talking in English makes it way easier to just use the "you" because there is no audible difference between the "you" as like a single person or the "you" as for a group of people. But I totally get it. I also tried out the vlog-style videos for my engine swap, but in my mother language, which really made it impossibly hard to reach the audience at all (even with a huge variety of captions). And in my language, as opposed to the English language, there is a different word used either for a single person or a group of people. A great tip though! I think another tip would be to just use an international language, and practice until you feel conformable using it.
Very cool tips Peter. Simple and effective but man if only I could remember to put them into practice. 😂 I should watch this every time I sit down to edit another video. But at least I get one out every now again and that's a start. 😁
I am not a pro. Me looking around his studio spotting $100k in gear ... Also me .. yeah he is a PRO .. As always. You are much appreciated;) thanks for sharing this.
@@PeterLindgren1 ur content is high end quality. Don't let YT algorithm get the best of you. Your strength and most views are ur insane tutorials on Cheap gear gettin the best out of it. I love watching ur Vlogs. They are entertaining and let US the viewers have a glimpse at ur amazing life BUT YT algorithm thinks otherwise my friend. Ur viewers stem from ur tutorials not ur vlogs. Ur hard work is not unseen but YT wants to push u into that category. U have amazing talent and ur content is dope. I ll be watching. EVERYTIME . ALL THE WAY.
hey Peter it's nice to see you I think a spot something new on your arm did you make a new tattoo and if you did can you explain and lab write the story behind the tattoo some people like me. Like to hear stories behind things specially tattoos
Step 3: Show more than you do. You mention showing first then describing. I sort of do that but I intro what I'm going to do, do it and then summarize why after I did it. I do automotive content.
Including 'hooks' in your videos is a *GREAT* way to entire the viewer within the first few seconds of them watching the video. Great stuff, Peter! 💪🏻
