pleae help me understand one thing .. i ve been practicing g major .. and i find that g major and A minor "like shown here" have in commun the same structures of scales ?? i i finally the g major structure on the wood by practicing all this last week... this got me completly beweldered .. is there a way to apply the same logic of g major on a minor ?? or only some structures are shared in common on certain positions then it goes different ??
I couldn't understand fully. But are you perhaps talking about G major and E minor scales (pentatonic)? Because they are made up of the exact same notes.
dude i passed all the last week trying to understand how comes some structures of g major are the same in a minor in certain places as we go on playing on the wood ... i m very good in blues scales but i ignored the minor and major all my life..i felt like a i m a fraud able to play some eric clapton and freddy king guitar solos and improvise on backing tracks but i was missing the basics ! when i tried to understand how i could understand or master the minor and major .. i really struggled..i passed hours trying to approach it and finally i understood that they got all similarities at a certain point they begin to have the same structures mathematically..so once i realised that .. it s a matter of time and training .. :-)) thanks for your response bro
Every major scale has a relative minor with the exact same notes. It just matters what order they're in. There's actually a bunch of different musical patterns (called modes) jammed into every key. It's just most music sticks to major (ionian mode) and minor (aeolian mode.) Think of each mode as a different pathway through the key depending on which note (the root note) you start and end on.
drsword yes my friend ..now 3 weeks that i m discovering things how to appropriate those scales and feel more confortable to travel haha i m finally very happy of myself ..now it s about time and training .. and thank u for the response ..now i kinda get it much better than 3 weeks ago .. best regards :-)
