For those who are looking for alligators in this video, they might have made a grammatical error in the title. The alligator they were mentioning was actually an "Alligator Snapping Turtle" which may confuse many viewers.

I've snorkeled there twice, you will not find any alligators in the clear water because its spring fed and the water is much too cold. Even in the summer you need a spring suit or wetsuit to stay in the water for any decent amount of time. They are out in the river but not the springs. Hoards of kids play in these springs every year without incident.

Bro you guys need to come to New Zealand, I'll take you to a place called lake ototoa near my home town, divers went down there back In the 70's and couldn't find the bottom.. they went to a depth of 400 mtrs.. my belief is that all the lakes in the area are inter connected via caverns and maybe even lead to the ocean somehow as muriwai beach is not far. Get in touch with me and I will show you.. the water in this lake is beautiful and clear. But I guess it's when you go deeper it gets darker. Solid vids Jake your the man.
