Where is the pastor? I was in a church 2 years ago and this happened and the pastor said he wasn’t preaching. The Spirit moved me to tell him that people are saved by the preaching of the word not the singing. God has a word for us from His word, not the singing. The pastor then stopped the singing and preached. God’s message for us was one of hope and comfort that day. We would have missed it if the pastor had not preached. The choir can do a concert if they want to show off, they can have a separate concert.
God doesn’t need your help, he’s God, he knows just exactly what he is doing. You should just be thankful these people are getting their blessings. Not every service does someone need to preach. God knows just exactly what he’s doing and what they need.

There’s nothing any sweeter than to see the power of the Holy Ghost upon God’s Children. This is a precious memory for those who were there.

Would someone please enlightened me about this church. Is Pastor Shotridge no longer the pastor ? Did he pass away? I am totally in the dark .
