Stampy the reason people don't tend to improve at video games with the equivalence that people improve at sports over the same period of time is because the more muscles you use during an activity the more potential their is for muscle memory. Since you only use your hands at video games it takes your brain a much longer time to memorize the exact movements you are making with your hands in order to complete a virtual task versus a more physical task that involves multiple muscles. -basically the more physical a task the more likely you are to remember how to do it again. And since videos games don't use many muscles it's harder to remember physical movement of your hands.
i think i can answer stampy's question maybe it's because things like tennis don't come up with new things and new techniques minecraft has updates and comes up with new things that is my guess

I find it legitimately hilarious that almost every one of the comments defending and fighting with the trolls on Stampy's videos always, and I mean *always* use the wrong you're. They always say "Your stupid" and "Your not as good as Stampy" and that just makes me laugh. Another thing which truly is hilarious is how whenever someone comments something like "No one who's not 5 (obviously for the sake of exaggeration to get their point across and comedy) would enjoy Stampy's videos," get replied to with several comments such as "Umm excuse me im 12 and I love his videos." and "Fuck U i'm 13!" Now that I think about it, I actually don't think I've ever seen someone who claims to be older than 14 who enjoys his videos, then again when you're more mature you realize that your age doesn't mean a whole lot to the internet and you almost never need to start a rebuttal with "I'm X years old" because nobody else gives two shits. I personally have no problem with Stampy as a person, I'm sure he's a swell guy I just really don't like his content personally or the fact that I don't think I could find anyone who likes his videos over the age of about 13. I just wish RUclips would fix recommended videos as it's a bit of a hassle that I always see Stampy's videos in my recommended. I dont want to watch his videos but if you do (and you're ranging from the ages of about 4-13) more power to you, I dont really care what you do in your free time and if it's not hurting anyone, then whats it to me? Stampy this is a mini game idea for ya its called gravel davel you have 4 pepole on top of gravel and its held up by sighs and 1 person is under the gravel breaking sighns and they are running to groups of wool and if they fall down they are the sigh breaker and you climb up a ladder to a wool patch and it goes like that for 5 patches of wool to stand on and I hope you like and possibly use the idea

I hear what your saying about the skill level thing, sometimes things are just difficult, especially if you get into a groove where your just going through the motions and not taking ever little thing into consideration.
I do however think that you are good at making people laugh while playing MineCraft and that in itself is a skill.
