good job. I have a full selection of tube brushes (hone to you), steel, nylon, copper. for anyone that's never done a valvebody, it usually only takes a few seconds, with the drill.

I have a 1999 subaru outback, which has a valve body failure. The valve cylinder (with spring) does not return to its position, which is why it fails to change gears and shows the At oil temp warning light.
    will it have repair?

My friend told me that is 2006 Chrysler 300 automatic gear only selected 1, 2 and 3, other gears aren't working. I also heard that gear oil was leaking slightly however that oil leakage have been fixed. Unfortunately, the gear problem still continues. Please, what could be responsible for such a problem and how should it be fixed?

      Possible internal trans concern

I have a 2014 versa cvt won’t shift to drive from low gear unless I pop it into neutral and back, can you fix this issue? Is there a quick fix if I drop the valve body? I’ll pay you!!!!!

To be able to shift in different gears, the fluid has to follow a path or circuit to engage/disengage different clutch packs. We can compare this to an electric circuit in a computer's motherboard. Instead of electricity, transmission fluid is flowing to complete a specific circuit.

Possible shift solenoid B stuck off. You may be able to repair it by removing trans pan and replacing shift solenoid B. We will normally replace both solenoids - A and B

Really all you did was clean the valve body. You need to vacuum test the valves to determine if they will seal. Most importantly the Pressure Regulator valve, the way to fix them if they don't seal is by reaming and installing an oversize valve or fix made by Sonnax, TransGo, or other manufacturers. If you have valves that dont seal your transmission wont last very long.

You always need to pressure test the circuit

Why are you honing? Do you intend to insert oversized pistons? Valve body bore wear is your biggest enemy and honing will not help. A file across the face is also not your friend.
Brake cleaner and compressed air is all you need for cleaning.
Great job removing all the pistons.

oversized pistons! lol, he's using a valve body hone on a valve body to clean the passages, makes sense to me

Huh? Never heard of oversized pistons in a valve body?
It's one way to address wear. Another is to introduce o rings.
In terms of cleaning a valve body, a hone is a bad idea. It's creates a larger bore, which is usually the end of a valve body to begin with, unless you have the larger pistons to match.
To clean a valve body is 1, 2: diesel, alcohol, even water. No honing needed. A hone will simply accelerate wear and it cannot access the finest debris in the crevices.
Are we sure we are on the same page?
      Thanks.
