Hi, Pam the distress crayons smudge great if you put just a little more on the page. Also tap your finger on a wet wipe or wet paper towel and the smudge factor is on lol you’ll love them. One more thing if you smear some on a craft mat and spray with water 💦 and they become water colors. Happy crafting! I am waiting on my vintage papers I purchased from you today 👍🥳 I gutted my first hard cover book per your video instructions and it came out beautiful 🥳 and that will be my first junk journal ty

Fun, as always!! Wet your smudge finger for better results or use a baby wipe, with gelatos or Distress Crayons. The Gelatos are my favorite! Keep on smudging!!

Pam, distressed crayons work with water. Spray water to paper first or smudge the crayon and wet it after. You can blend them with a brush and use them like a watercolor. Have fun!!

LOL, hearing your bird in the background put a wicked thought in my mind. An interesting way to put some random accent to your page; let the bird walk thru the ink pad, then onto the pages. :)

Fun video! Your right we just need to play with our paper LOL. If the last coloring of the paper gets too waxy for glue you could make a corner pocket that would glue on the back side of the page. Thanks Pam for sharing!! :-)
I'm drooling over all your distress crayons 🤤 You can use them as a watercolour medium. They are pigment and reactive to water. I put a little circle down on my glass mat and use my water pen to pick up the colour .Enjoying all your videos!
That last page 's colors were awesome. I also loved the heart pocket. I love how you made the paper look like a wood print. I altered the paper with mio water enhancer. Also with blush , chalk and stamps. I'm going to have to go get some stamp pads in different colors now and give this a try.

Distress crayons can be moved with water also
how do I do that? I added water and when it dried there was not much spread! thanks!
