ELITE DANGEROUS PVP KILLING A CHEATER

- I pulled a "deadly" ranked CMDR in an Anaconda and the usual exchange of friendly fireworks followed. Unfortunatly the CMDR couldnt help himself and combat logged as the fight wasnt going his way.
A day later, i was visiting a friend and helping out with some powerplay, the clogging CMDR started answering my messages again. He admitted to combat logging and excused himself with regards to how awfully much his rebuy would have cost.
A few seconds later, i dont know why, but as i jumped to supercruise i ran directly into and over him.
Because as Sun Tze pointed out multiple times while watching spongebob squarepants:
"Dont combat log. Dying aint that bad. Ya noob."

Eh, when He admitted to the Mistake I prob would have let him go, maybe help him get more credits/learn him gank evasion theory So He doesn't have to clog. This really doesn't help anything.
I always try to befriend and talk to everyone i encounter and I ve helped a lot of players to get credits, better understanding (submit+highwake) and better ship builds by now... But he didnt even say he wouldnt do it again, he just made excuses and never realy took responsibility. He never had to clog, he just didnt want to spend the money, as he blatantly admitted btw.. And even if he didnt had the money, which he didnt said, quite the opposite in fact, its still his job to be prepared before logging into open, that includes being ready to pay instead of cheating to get out of rebuying your ship.

Logging out of the game (waiting for the countdown timer) is not against TOS. Task killing is. Either way, playing in open carries risks ARRRRRRR!
However, its still cheating. He could have highwaked out, said "parle" or take it like a decent human being.

Its not like i am proud of killing an paper Asp in a 5 plasma FDL, but man, just being too cheap for the rebuy ? I approached him the day he logged and told him i did like the fight until he logged and maybe wanted to make a video about it. I said i rather tell the viewers that he is a nice guy, apologized, understood that clogging is bad and that he wont do it again, like at least some ED players i know did in the past, but he kinda did the opposite... why he was in the same system and right in front of me in supercruise, thats the mystery!
I've said it hundreds of times in comments dm's and party chats........There's no kill more satisfying than on a cheat. Awesome work matey, Yaarrr ✌🍻🏴☠️

What’s combat log? I don’t play in open just yet because I just switched from PS4 to PC and got Odyssey and still getting use to mouse and keyboard
Combatlogging is when you exit the game either via menu, taskkill or disconnect while in active combat. Its highly frowned upon and is considered cheating by the community and developers as well. Its a very dirty, cheap trick used by people that wont accept defeat or rebuy.
Any reason for you targeting his surface scanner?
Of course, they are particulary in danger of being hosts and a source for the dreaded AI that started ww3. See, the AI hides its base code inside the probes chips and thereby contaminates all scanned planets.

@@jhcode Lore wise my answer was sincere as well. As for the boring real reason: i am very bad at pvp and the time this happend i was trying to always subtarget at least .. something. Because i heard someone say that that maybe better for using gimbals..
@@jhcode There are some books about it Elite Lore, but ingame its pretty vague from what i seem to remember. But there defo was a big ww3 with lots of damage done.
Open is empty, know you know why. Once you had his hull down so low you should have GG'd him and left, but you wanted a kill for the lulz. He griefed you tbh.
I do piracy almost every night and there are plenty of cmdrs around to rob or have a fight with. And its actualy kind of a big game..
This CMDR took a fight and then cheated, as he later admitted. Please stopp with the cringy sadness carebear meme.

That is factualy wrong. its been clicked on and watched more then any other video.. maybe another one of your "jokes"? or maybe additionaly to not knowing the same people as you- most people do feel different about that as well. Maybe use generalisations a bit more carefull. it seems painfully obvious they are not your strong suit. O7
