Andre Reed is a great person. I remember when I was younger and my brother was 6 at the time. We went to the Bills training camp. Andre Reed was his favorite player and he yells "Andre Reed Can I have your autograph." Andre Reed yells back I promise after practice". He kept his promise and not only did he sign my brothers card of him but he also shook his hand. My brother was looking at Andre Reed as if he was God. The next day he was bragging that he met his favorite player to everyone he seen. Andre Reed is a class act and you can tell he stayed humble, never letting the spotlight get to his head, never acted like a pre Madonna.
It's rare that you see an NFL star being so open, honest and humble. I'm not a *Bills* fan but I am a *Jim Kelly* fan, mostly because of his *Houston Gambler* days but also what I've learned about him after he retired... all that he has been through... losing a son, dealing with cancer... know this *Jim Kelly* ... you are loved by millions!!!
A lot of guys would keep the spotlight on themselves in their moment of being honored but Reed spent nearly five minuets directing the attention towards the great Jim Kelly. It shows what a great and tight team those Super Bowl era Bills were. They gave us so many exciting moments. I love both these guys.
Andre Reed is a class act all the way. In 1986, Reed was a speaker and presenter for my 8th grade Honor Society ceremony. It was a surprise for all of us. He signed autographs for three hours after the ceremony ended. Reed talked to my grandfather and father about the upcoming season and was a friendly guy. Jim Kelly had not signed with Buffalo just yet. Who knew that Buffalo Bills' history was in the making? Reed was an excellent WR and person.
Astonishing moment from a great Bill and great man. In his moment of triumph he chose to give praise to his wounded QB in his time of need. A fitting tribute to that great era.
Reed deflects everything about himself time and again and he doesn't even acknowledge that outside of Rice he's probably the most consistent WR of their era. His stats don't have the same shine today, but he was getting his head torn off for a catch in the early 90s. So happy he's in.
There are tributes and there are tributes. I know that Andre believed he would not be in Canton if not for Jim Kelly. What a speech. Much respect for Andre Reed.
One of if not the best QB to WR duos in NFL history. They were every bit as good as Montana to Rice. The best team doesn't always win the Super Bowl. For 4 years we were the best team despite the Super Bowl losses. No team will ever be special as those Bills were.
I remember hearing rumors after Jim Kelly retired that he was gonna come back and play for the Baltimore Ravens. I couldn't imagine Jim playing for anyone else other than the Buffalo Bills. Jim and Andre Reed are my favorite QB and WR of all time

It took Andre Reed to help me to understand what's missing in Florida. Leadership. There is such a strong lack of leadership in this state that it's clear to me why I am struggling to live in this state. This state government told me I cannot admit or deny to false allegations about using my son to get attention and told me that my complaints about my computer stalking were imaginary and in my head. They court ordered me their community mental health treatment to try to create this type of case to support their lack of leadership. I can see how much Andre looks up to Jim Kelly. That's the kind of coach and manager I have always been. Never would I lead a parent down a road to have their child removed from them so that someone else could rob them of their home, their car, their career, their freedom, their kitten and their community. It takes a New Yorker to reflect back on the roots from the north to be a testimony of women's discrimination in he south. I hope you will join me in praying and taking action for the Florida's kids who have been taken to be returned home for he holidays.
Jim Kelly is so underrated when it comes to HOF QBs. But Jim Kelly the man is in a league of his own. Tough guy and still fighting cancer after multiple oral surgeries and radiation! #KellyStrong
I'm a Cowboy Fan But that team 90,s Bills oooh My God increidible team and in booth games were equale games and The only difference were Thurman fumbles
Reed was known for his toughness going across the middle? HAHAHAHA! I guess he forgot about Super Bowl XXV when he took a bog hit from Mark Collins and got alligator arms the rest of the game. Boy, I needed that laugh
I love how Andre Reed made his Hall Of Fame speech about Jim Kelly and not about himself. Class act right there. Props to you #83
It was classic!!! I’m a giants fan but I respect the legends of the game…

Nicholas Rivera andre is nice but kelly was a dick. I think that is part of the reason he wasn't successful in the big game
Prima donna
@@ph7715 heard story about Kelly dude ignored me in the airport smh
a lot of heart in this speech . Andre Reed was great! lots of love to all
He pretty much says, I owed my career to Jim, , its takes a great man to stand up and say that about a teammate

That is called 'selflessness.'
You need dictionary to see what that word means because it's an unheard of word in America.

Eric Moulds
@@stilesjohnson1745 Eric Molds, great receiver, not on Andre or James Lofton level though.
@@NeoNitty what good quarterbacks Moulds have 🤔
Como olvidar mi Bills de los 90' sin duda los mejores siempre en el corazón.
I lost my dad a year ago to cancer, so believe me when I tell you, I’m pulling for Mr. Kelly. #KellyStrong

Awesome. Praying for your strength Jimmy
Awesome as a bills fan we love you guys both !!!!!

The most inspiring qb in history
Pisses me off why people would rather click on the dislike then just not click at all.

I love sports. Race doesn't matter.
You know.. it USED to be that way. ESPN and Fox Sports are trying their best to make sure it does.
Chris Coates tell it to the 45th
Chris Coates WAY COOL MY FRIEND got bruises to provide evidence to that scars TOO. Love y'all.

Well said Mr. Reed, well said.

Wish Jim Kelly didn’t ignore at the Airport
Amazing the Bills couldn’t win a title with all that talent. I hope 🤞 Josh gets us 1or more.
As a giants fan they should have beaten giants and redskins
Was he not that highly regarded coming into the league?
Jim Kelly was one of the TOUGHEST quarterbacks to over put on football pads
He was a tough sob, until he went up against the Cowboys!!!
Reed was known for his toughness going across the middle? HAHAHAHA! I guess he forgot about Super Bowl XXV when he took a bog hit from Mark Collins and got alligator arms the rest of the game. Boy, I needed that laugh
Boy, you're a clown
Joseph F You're right, that never happened. Reed didn't get scared going over the middle in that game
Saying a player got alligator arms in the Super Bowl is classless? Please explain. You make no sense
You're missing the point, he was honoring Jim Kelly for his bravery and courage for fighting cancer the way he did.
