Actually on Greenlight cars you can both slightly raise and lower the stance after removing the wheels and fiddling with the the holes, that are drilled through the base to push the axle through. When you need to lower the stance it is clear - you need to file some of the material on the upper side of the hole for the axle. When you need to increase the stance just slightly, you could take advantage of the fact that the holes for the axles are usually wider than the diameter of the axle itself. So all you need to do is use super glue with some baking soda to make the axle hole narrower by applying the glue and the soda to the upper side of the axle hole. Once the glue and sode mixture has dried, you could fiddle with the hole and make it wide just enough to push the axle through and let it rotate freely, so that you do not spoil the rolling action of the model. I am using this process to slighly improve the stance of the GL197 casting - Dodge Diplomat and Plymouth Grand Fury, which is notorious for having an extremely low stance, without drilling the model and adding material to the inside to lift the body from the base. The good thing is that after drying and sanding the glue + soda mixture turns to a greyish colour, that belnds well with non-painted Greenlight bases. Also the wheels do block the sight well enough, so one would not really see that super glue + baking sode have been used to adjust the diameter of the axel hole. It is a shame though that a collector must take such actions to fix their models.
Excellent info. I pinned your comment. Thank you
@@Championdjk I like your videos. Keep them coming.
Best 10 Car Tuesday Ever, Honestly!!!!!!
10. Car. Tuesday. Greenlight makes. The. Best. Poilce vehicle
Nice police vehicles 😉👍
Those crooked light bars are just inexcusable…. I’m with you on the Polizei VW casting though, it’s solid. Cool Wisconsin 2-pack.
I am surprised that greenlight has not made any wagons in the Hot Pursuit series, They have made Police wagons but they are generic. thanks for sharing
Love GreenLight ! The new Cadillac Coupe and Sedan DeVille’s are awesome! I collect a variety of their diecast! I really like the Hot Pursuit series. You are right the quality control is surely lame.
Love love love love love love love love love love this and watching ur videos keep up the amazing job
Thank you!
This cool cars mister championdjk
Cannot say I agree. The wheels are ALWAYS jacked up. Even the NYC Parks and recreation truck & trailer. Look at the rear driver wheel on truck. I'm just saying if your gonna spend more money for a Premium it should be just that "Premium".
Other than that it's a great video, well done. Still friends 😁 Pat
It is a beehive on the Utah state patrol car.
@Championdjk I got a Series 41 Hot Pursuit 2019 Dodge Charger and it's a Nevada Highway Patrol State Trooper 1/64 Greenlight Diecast Car yesterday in the mail I ordered it online
i want those Dodge so bad
They probably had a random teenager do that one car🤣
Hey Dave Tom long island i have issues with green light too but i still get them when i can and the officer probably had a ultrred for you cool man Tom NY
Awsome channel you an I have the same mentality
Open em all lol
Most of em anyway
Great looking hot pursuit series your videos are never to long again you should partner with autoworld you are very professional God bless you and your family 🙏
I am currently trying to look for the 1980s and 1970s greenlight cars but I have a 1:24 scale 1975 NYPD Dodge Monaco
Greenlight and Johnny lightning are about the same as far as quality control is concerned. Auto world is a feew steps up...but thats it. I am trying all other brands.....there are sooo many.
I rather like my MA State police Explorer by GL. Those lightbar holes are just sad but no surprise. Too bad TLV never makes American cars; I like my Fiat police Panda from them.
Nice Golf, but I prefer the Schuco version of that car.
The Schuco is deffo superior. But for the price the GL is not bad. Also the GL has more tooling variations
@@Championdjk GLs are almost the same price as Schucos
@@seismic6435 where you getting your Schuco stuff from? Maybe most of the price difference for me stems from the fact I rarely pay shipping on them
I wish the blanks had inserted head and tail lights. Too many variations.
You pronounced Arapahoe correctly the first time.
How old is the GL diecast brand? And all cars are made in China? Unfortunately there’s always some quality control issue with GL
Hi, I have a question.
I have 2 limited edition greenlight San Diego 2011 police interceptors, one a canine car and the other a traffic cruiser,.
I can't seem to find out how much these are worth?
They are both brand new in the package and come with a trading card.
Can anyone tell me how much these are worth? Thank you
Not sure have you tried looking them up on eBay?
@@Championdjk Can hardly find anything on them--did find them on "worthpoint" ,website that tells the value of collectible things etc., but you have to pay a subscription fee to see what they're worth (and the subscription fee is not just a couple of bucks).
I did however find someone in ( I think) Singapore.
Anyways, they were for sale there for fifty bucks.
Thanks anyways
Lets be HONEST! Greenlight does NOT make the BEST of anything. Greenlight is pretty much the only company making police vehicles. Alot of them. I will give greenlight credit for that....but these police vehicles are not of the highest quality. GOOD VIDEOS YOU GOT HERE...KEEP MAKING THEM. 😉
I disagree, Inno64 did a pretty decent job with the R32 GTR Japan Police car. If they decided to step into the American market, it would be a game changer.
INNO64 is not even really comparable to GL. They are great but they are TLV prices. If they wanted to do American police cars they would be nice…. But they probably will never get into doing those
@@Championdjk they are cheaper than TLV in most cases. I can see them doing more police cars in the future.
I actually feel like greenlights are to big to be called 164 scale I mean they are bigger than matchbox bruh like who wants that?!
thank you for mentioning dicastrum,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,was getting withdrawals
Hahahaha I knew you would mention it
