[Ep1] 🇲🇦Morocco by motorbike - The first 653km of a great adventure!😵💫

- Finally, the day of our long-awaited trip to Morocco has arrived! We prepared in advance, but from the beginning, the journey surprised us with some unexpected episodes. We left home at 4:30 am, because, well, we knew that stopping to find parts is almost a tradition on our trip! 😂
At the second stop, we had to deal with the GPS support which decided to give problems, in addition to the crashbar also complaining about missing screws. Of course, Valter became the master of tools while João and I... well, we were just there to learn! 🛠️😅
We quickly realized that we had around 250 kilometers to go and it was only 10am, which meant we would have plenty of time, as the ferry wouldn't leave until 9:30pm! 🚢
We arrived in Algeciras around 2pm and needed to kill time. We chose to have lunch at Burger King to say goodbye to familiar food and embark on the unknown. 😜
Then, we headed to the port in the hope of being able to board early. After some negotiation (thanks to the 2030 World Cup, without knowing if we got there 😁) we got what we wanted. 🙏
At 6pm, we boarded the ferry, three hours ahead of schedule, and arrived at the Hotel Onomo in Tanger Med, next to the port, at around 8pm. We then tried to purchase a data card and withdraw money from the Revolut card, which by chance didn't work, nor did Moey. And they ask how we got away with it? We withdrew money with our regular card. Yes, there was a bit of risk, but what would a trip be without a touch of adventure? 😉
Arrived in Morocco and? We had a reality check. 🧐 The roads full of people, the driving and, especially, the approach...😅 Stay tuned for the next chapters of this incredible adventure!

Eu a maior parte dos dias é por volta das 5h00 que começo o trabalho, até as 6h30 aqui em Lausanne CH é um sossego.

Este dia foi fixe, chegámos muito mais cedo e ainda bem, porque como conseguimos apanhar o ferry mais cedo aproveitámos melhor a noite em Tanger MED. ☺
