I'd be lying if I said it wasn't awesome how Goldfinger has become a pop punk revolving door supergroup. Feldmann, the original GF guitarist, Mike, Travis, Phil "Moon", Cyrus from NFG. A lot of awesome musicians trading out spots
How could anyone say anything bad about this? It's brilliant, the Travis energy and style and speed and intensity, all incredible he's the most entertaining drummer of all time.
Born in 89 big blink fan… just went into a goldfinger hole and found out about The Knife album and am freaking out. Music knowledge is infinite I’m just glad I learned this 👏👏👏
I knew Superman, and fell deeply in love with Goldfinger when they released the quarantine songs - here in Melbourne Australia, we got really heavily locked down and those songs released every few weeks were my little gems of excitement during a very hard time. As the universe would work itself out - Goldfinger just so happen to be playing a 10 minute walk from my hotel on my last night in the US this past January - AMAZING night :)
@@JamesG714 well its all about taste of course,.. but if I would make a top 5 based on my personal wow factor I would say in no particular order Tomas haake Mario duplantier Ray luzier Kerim lechner Nicolas Barker But as I said,..a guy like Travis Barker who is always on point with what he does,..should always be on a list.. but for example,if I watch Tomas Haake Clockworks drumcam .. Bought the Goldfinger album with 99 Red Balloons at Walmart when the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater came out, and it came with a Descendants album. Who remembers?
Incase anyone is thinking it... No, Travis is not rushing the tempo. It sounds like he is because of the time it takes for sound to travel. The sound from his drum kit only has to travel a few feet to the camera's microphone, whereas the rest of the band we are hearing is coming from the front stage speakers which means it has to travel all the way to the back of the theatre and bounce off the wall and travel back to the camera, making it sounds slightly behind his drumming. It actually can be hard on a drummer because it can throw you off which is why they need good stage monitors.
Plus lets be fair the vast majority of high intensity bands (eg punk & metal) tend to naturally play faster than usual when they play live unless they’re playing to a click
Nice to see Mike Herrera and Travis Barker jamming together....two of my heros when I was a teen
I just noticed that and I kinda feel the same
And John Feldman.

With that kind of drummer behind you, you can’t lose

You're an idiot
Weadfreek wow what a roast! Congrats
Give a great drummer like Darren. For this jackass from an over rated boy band to sit in. What a shame!
@@jamesgabioud6654 blink isn't a boy band, they made fun of boy bands back in '99, it's a shame how much of a dumbass you are.
