    This is pretty great, though the haradrim armors in the movies have a much less practical look to them (lol), the top half is seperate from the bottom half, and the pieces are angular, kind of like distorted pentagons or rhombus, though the mat is pretty good substitute for the wicker material shown in the trilogy. Also I think it needs more spikes, like long pointy ribs coming off the top half, but that would add another material to the list and make the fit significantly more complicated.

      Of course this is just a base !
      One could ad some other parts, decorations, ornaments, or additional protections...
      Pieces of wood, leather, bamboo.. Even metal parts, like brass !

      Ho, well, I should think about it for another time, but its very close to the way i stitch borders on shields, and there is plenty of my shield video tutorials on the channel !

      The idea was to stay basic, and as this was a pack of 4 armors for extras, I kept it quite simple ! But anyone can personnalise this base ;)

    Great vid! But the is the armor effective?

    • @Carancerth
      @Carancerth  4 месяца назад

      Depend on what would you call "effective" ?
      Agains stabbing, no much
      Cuts, yes it prevent them !
      Blund weapon and axes : can't endure a direct blow, but will prevent too much damages if you can parry it too, and at the end of the arm extention of your opponent.
      This is my estimation so far.
      this ain't plate or mail ;p

    • @Carancerth
      @Carancerth  3 года назад

      It's just a random Cotton, old sheets that were dyed ;p
      you can even spot the yellow spots here and there XD

      @Carancerth  3 года назад

      @@joshuadizon5627 I used a leather that wasnt expenssive, wich wasnt to thick, but not floppy. It was perhaps 1 or 2mm thick, nothing more. Some cheap cow hide if I do remember right.

      Do you know any shield that is as good a shield as the one in this video?

      it is super effective against the mace
      🤔

    • @Carancerth
      @Carancerth  Год назад

      @@Estudiante-musico-con-hobbies it's a modern shield so, there is nothing like that in the other designs of shields of the past centuries !
      Best thing facing a mace: avoid the hits , and if needed absorb with you shield but it won't live long.
      if the oponent can't stike fast use that to gain the advantage.
