Another great BBC TV series in the 80s was Micro Live. Here the wonderful Fred Harris introduced the Amiga and used it to explain the then relatively new to everyone mouse based UI and multitasking: ruclips.net/video/Tl6092fMkZY/видео.html And as if that wasn't enough to get through in 7.5 minutes they also showed off the motherboard and the co-processors. Haha yep it’s quite a mess! I usually leave it till the next day to clean up so don’t go in there just after filming ok!
Love RR... keep it up guys... love from Ireland
I'm pulling for the Lego C-64 aka "Brixty Four"!!!! Happy 50th Atari.... and when the Atari Lego console does become available for public purchase... you can bet I will try to get one! Cheers !
I "need" that SPACESHIP!!! 😁
Haha, that first bad-Englishy thing was funny, if even only for that reason! 😀
That's actually from terminator 2. She needs to watch it!!!
Of course I meant the Terminator saga. She’s certainly watched it but not for many years! Time for a rewatch!
I needed some serious Doctor Who nerddom today. You've warmed both of my hearts 💙💙
💕
Lol @ random 9-Bit Guy (for parity) cameo.
Anyone notice KITT has a english accent, well he would, Knight Industries was own by Wilton Knight who was played by Richard Basshart ... :) so was a British Foundation.. :) Devon Miles was British and was played by Edward Mulhare.... :) but weird how Wilton made Michael look like his son Garthe Knight.. :)
I would say it’s sort of mid Atlantic, but yes, you are right about the heritage.
@@RetroRecipes You just reminded me of that episode when KITT drove on water... lol
A very enjoyable episode to start the morning. Love the nod to Doctor Who and will be pre ordering my Space Lego. Loved the Japanese blurb for Aliens.
What do we search to locate the do do do man
Doot n doot guy on RUclips ;-)
Sting or The Police? Oh, wait you mean THAT do do do man? LOL. (Sorry had to do it).🐝🚔🚨
Great vid funny to hear about tomorrow's world it was so long ago 😂
I have the distinction of saying I never once used IE (or the Edge renamed version) on any computer I own. Never once. I did have to use it at work, on various work computers.
Love the format, very much like the Unicorn Circuit MCM #fank
Looks like you now have your own PCB (Public Call Box) with the TARDIS door. Just saying. Also the first thing that came to mind with the Dyson and Hoover references. 'Ooh, that sucks!'. (Sorry, had to do it). LOL. ['Kick the bucket' and 'bite the dust' were the terms you were looking for; regarding Internet Explorer]. And finally: Retro Passion - Re-Engineered Technology with Recreated Outer Plastic Shell, Styled In Original Nostalgia? Or similar?
Ooh Public Call Box or is it Police Call Box. Either way all very good!
@@RetroRecipes Funnily enough I was going to go for Police Call Box, but I chose the alternative, for a change, LOL.
Two big kids with dogs. :D
Always fun guys ;)
NEEDLESS TO SAY.... I HAD THE LAST LAUGH!!
Jurassic Park!
But...but... Peter Perves was great a Doctor Who companion. How did you miss that?
Damn you’re right!
Usagi electric has not only a fun project with his one-bit vacuum tube demonstrator computer project but has a working centurion micro-computer with working CDC Hawk drive in it! and he has connected it to his TI99. I still prefer my TI92A calculator
Unfortunately i don't have a download cable to see if i can get that TI92 to run TI84 DOOM
It was pronounced Bor Rey Gas as the name of the street that Atari was headquartered on In Sunnyvale
Thank you
Bring on Kate! That would be great!
She's welcome!
You two are definitely more Magpie than Blue Peter 😉
Hey we’ll take that!
3:32 Wasn't aware that Ladyfractic was an X-Men...
Lol I was wondering what that flash was!
I've heard of a shandy called a Diesel. It's Coke and Pilsner. A Drecksach (dirtbag) is Coke and Kolsch.
Gosh I’ve got so many new drinks to try!
Did you know that doors is an acronym? direct opening or rotatably solid.
I knew it!
Unicorn school and bible school is basically the same thing.
LOL, "TITT"? Oh nooooo, geesh!
Get him to say “I went to the pawn shop.” 😏

So many of my friends live or lived in Kew, wonder if they knew you or Kate ?! Unicorn school is definitely Harry Potter worthy
Very possible! You could ask if they went to Unicorn from 1978-1989 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Love your show
This is a brilliant recipode. Genuine had me crying with laughter. Loved, loved, loved it!
😂 We love hearing that!
Any chance someone can link to the doo-inn guy? I mean really that should be in the description of every video... on youtube... Love the show! if only you released it earlier for the East Coast, it would fill the void Saturday morning cartoons left so many years ago...
Check out the video I just published!
@@RetroRecipes you just made my day
So you went to school with famous people and i went to school with people who mostly ended up in prison. What a difference it makes between West and South London hahaha
Oh man
@@RetroRecipes It was a rough school. I turned out fine somehow and never got into trouble lol
All good though. At least i get to live free and happy at 52 plus i get to watch your vids that bring back a lot of good memories.
