Rhett did very specifically guess "bean" and they were told that it was a word. He did not guess the correct word, simple as that. He said "B.E.A.N.". Based on the rules he was not permitted to guess again, yet Stevie still accepted his second answer "beans". If they would have continued, Link probably would have clicked very quickly and said "beam". Now we will never know.
okay, but rhett is right that stevie sometimes asks them to be specific or tells them that they’re close, essentially allowing them a second guess. they should be timed, like on jeopardy, so they can make multiple guesses but only in a few seconds.
