And he is, and I'm proud of him. None of this is easy. The only beds open are 8 hours away in half way houses / rehabs - and he has to continue his recovery journey for like the next year. He may have cheated on me and I'm already half way out the door so.... thats not going to go well ... although I'll forgive him I'm not going to want to take him back. Poor guy he's really trying and I'm really proud of him. I helped him get to meetings and get into to detox, rehab, medical insurance etc.- but I might have to break up with him before with my addiction (I have a in recovery sex addiction sometimes although I haven't cheated .. yet... I might if it's a few more months of no contact.... so we might need to take a break before then... Ironic I wasn't the one to cheat but there you have it) I feel terrible but you nailed it - if he tells me he cheated on me I WILL forgive him but I wont' be with him. Ever again. Sorry but those are my boundaries. And if it's just that it needs to be another few months we can just be friends in recovery and see where it goes from there... it's kind of too little too late If he cheated. Many people experience this. Any time you are stuck on someone and it plagues your mind or you feel obsessed that is a problem regardless of their behavior or what the circumstances are. Generally, it’s because they are being confusing which for me has become an automatic deal breaker. This is the only way to choose someone who is direct and honest with you. If someone is confused about their feelings, walk away really fast and let them sort themselves out. The only beds open are 8 hours away in half way houses / rehabs - and he has to continue his recovery journey for like the next year. He may have cheated on me and I'm already half way out the door so.... thats not going to go well ... although I'll forgive him I'm not going to want to take him back.
Poor guy he's really trying and I'm really proud of him. I helped him get to meetings and get into to detox, rehab, medical insurance etc.- but I might have to break up with him before with my addiction

I know he's going to hurt me with an upcoming conversation I have this feeling... not saying I won't forgive him. I will. Not saying we both don't have parts in the relationship being on the rocks. We do. But I know my values. Point blank. I love him, in some way always will, he'll always have a place in my heart not going to say that ... I'll always support him in his recovery ... but eventually I'll forgive him but not take him back. I know myself and my values.

It comes from trauma and it doesn’t have to be severe trauma either. Just feeling neglected by a parent is enough for people to get caught in this sort of coping mechanism. Many people experience this. Any time you are stuck on someone and it plagues your mind or you feel obsessed that is a problem regardless of their behavior or what the circumstances are. Generally, it’s because they are being confusing which for me has become an automatic deal breaker. This is the only way to choose someone who is direct and honest with you. If someone is confused about their feelings, walk away really fast and let them sort themselves out. Choose yourself and choose to heal the reasons you are attracted to confused and confusing people in your life and how you can change that. Hope that helps! 🤗

Pile 4. I'm still a bit confuse of whom he is. If he's the narcissist or the one I can forgive and maybe give another chance. He had narcissist speach, he argues like one and I told him right away. But he's only in his early 20's, so I don't know if he's just scared. He told me he was super scared and having lots of anxiety because he look into my eyes and saw he wasn't enough, he was hurting me. I could look into his eyes and see the love and the child inside him super confuse with all this love he wasn't ready to feel. So I dont know if he is one or another, or if he's just both.
