🔴ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 🔴 Taijitu can be purchased from the Travelling Merchant's Shop for 800K coins and gives you anywhere between 3-5 Taijitu. Travelling Merchant stock can be found in my Discord Server: [ Discord.gg/4fMEb32qzm ] If you want to get the most out of the Uncharted Islands, consider gathering the materials for Shark Soups since they're really good for Chimes. Shark Soup Wiki Link: [ runescape.wiki/w/Shark_soup ] There are also a bunch of miniquests that award Chimes and Taijitu. Miniquests Wiki Link: [ runescape.wiki/w/Chimes#Miniquests ]
For long term Arc utility, and if you have the levels for it, it's probably better to go for the Tier 2 Commodity Increase first and the Tier 5 Supply Cost Reduction second. That might seem expensive off the bat - together, they cost 31 Taijitu and 31k Chimes - but in conjunction with selling Shark Soup, they are worth it when hunting for the 50 Taijitu and the 50k Chimes needed to unlock the Bonecrusher Upgrade and the full Hunter outfit. This is because after the maxing out the tiers, the cost of one supply drops from 25 chimes to 10 chimes, and the value of shark soup raises from 85 chimes to 102 chimes. Correspondingly, each short trip goes from 125 Chimes in supplies to 50 Chimes, which is ten collective Driftwood and Sea Shells or half of Shark Soup. While exploring uncharted isles, particularly with the maps, it's a good idea to look for an island that has Golden Bamboo, Woebegong, Alaea Crabs, Ornate Tortles, and a Mushroom Patch. Each resource provides enough materials to make fifty shark soups a day, worth over 5k chimes, before boosts that can be used to increase the gathered and processed materials. Granted, this is a high-level goal, but if it can be achieved, then it becomes a tremendous help - particularly if you care to gather further resources for more soups as you go along to other islands. Throw in the collected driftwood and sea shells, and you can do a lot more short trips without bankrupting yourself. This is more of a piece of foundational advice, because while the Bonecrusher Upgrade and the Hunter Outfit are important, the long-term application of the Arc seems to be geared toward gathering Chimes and Taijitu to buy Ports resources directly, allowing you to dramatically increase your rate of travel and success in Ports.
Yes, I apologize. There was a very short portion at the end of the video that had audio issues because I was running too many programs during the recording. I appreciate you letting me know, and I'll make sure it doesn't happen again 😀
Came from Artisan`s Workshop in W70. Great content and great channel, just subbed. Keep up the good work. The video is great, by the way. I've managed to get Arc fully done (including salty title and stuff) by getting 120 mining and woodcutting with alaea crabs and golden bamboo. I've got like 200k spare chimes and about 1.5k spare taijitus.
I have been doing casual Arc since July to try for the Salty title- this guide is on point! Keep up the great work bro! No need to apologies for being human and having things going on outside of RS btw! Much Love!
Thank you so much for the information, I really appreciate it, I did this so so so many years ago and just simply forgot until I discovered the bone crusher upgrade
All the methods shown in this video are still relevant, but it comes down to your own preferences. There are some other skilling methods that I didn't mention when it comes to farming chimes that can be found on the wiki if you're interested: [ runescape.wiki/w/Chimes#Collecting_chimes ]
It’s very stressful, I had to do so many boss fights just to get all the pages for the dominion journal Survive a number of floors to get one of the achievements done to unlock the head statues rewards Beat over 700 boss fights for one of the achievements You can get all of the unlocked rewards and items unlocked, if you add them to the coffers, your xp reward book will increase its xp you’ll get and it’ll add more of a reward to the chest when you open it You will not get dominion book pages per every fight or after beating a number of bosses, it’s the same kind of drop rate in the chest as all monsters are I game made with for drops On the wiki, it says if you destroy the dominion tower book while only a few pages are put in it, you’ll have to collect them all over again if you destroyed it
Not recommended to sell materials. It's highly highly highly recommended to save them until you have all materials for shark soup. They sell at 85 each then 102 max with upgrades. It's about a 50 chime profit over selling the raw materials.
that's what Im trying to figure it out, the thing is if I don't sell stff I can have supplies to travel from island to island.. btw wich island do u advise ? the 20's?
@@jgtsrlord Yes the 20's. Personally I have about 100 green maps from deep sea fishing daily merchant, but make sure when you go, you have flags in your bank so if you find an island that you like, you can claim it and go back. I would suggest doing 2-3 maps and selling the materials to buy some supplies for future voyages, which can then be used for soups. Add me in game if you'd like for more instant help: A Partyhat
It's honestly going to take a good amount of hours to accumulate that many chimes. Then, the Taijitu is more of a time gated thing since you either have to gather Green Uncharted Island Maps from the Travelling Merchant or collect your daily Uncharted Island supplies to go on voyages.
Unfortunately there isn't any new methods to unlock everything fast. However, refer to my pinned comment for some additional methods that I missed talking about in the video.
The travelling merchant bot is down at the moment and I don't know when it'll be back up. In the mean time I would suggest joining this discord because they do active world calls for everyone to use. [ discord.gg/whirlpooldnd ]
If you're referring to the resources such as Bamboo, Berries, and Sea Salt then you would need to go on multiple voyages and hope to find them. Also, the islands won't provide all the same resources, so you need to travel to different ones in order to obtain what you're looking for.
@@Cobra-eu5pc The only way to obtain supplies without buying them is through Rosie's supply box that will supply the player with a minimum of five free supplies daily, which stores up to a maximum of 50 supplies. They can be claimed by clicking on the crate next to her merchant stand. If collecting the free supplies would put you past their current supplies cap, the additional supplies will be lost. The initial supplies cap of 200 can be increased four times (200 supplies each) to 1,000 by purchasing a Supplies Cap Increase from the Waiko Reward Shop. [ 2:00 Supplies ]
If you hover over the powers icon (looks like three blue orbs in a circle) which is located on the ribbon, you can then choose to open the magic book. Then you’re able to select the teleports tab which you can leave open as an interface anywhere on your screen.
@@RsSavage hahaha thank you I never saw the little T thing on the right to enable lodestone teleports thank you very much! great video btw just getting in to the arc now
I would suggest just to keep buying the green uncharted island maps from the merchant, collect your free supplies everyday, and farm chimes to buy supplies with because it can take 100s of islands before you get one.
I’m on an ironman and I don’t have any level 90 skills. Should I wait until I get those skills to 90 before starting the arc or can I still gain chimes and taijitu without having those levels?
The majority of skilling methods on the Arc that you can use for the XP along with Chimes do require level 90 in the respective skills. However, I wouldn't wait necessarily until you get those levels because you could be missing out on the quality of life with the Bonecrusher Upgrade. Therefore, what you could do is use the other methods I mentioned in the video to farm Chimes such as killing chickens or doing ED1. Then, only do that until you get the 25,000 Chime requirement for the upgrade, and use your supplies and maps to go on voyages until you get the 25 Taijitu requirement as well. If you ever plan of going for the Trimmed Completionist Cape you will need to have obtained the Salty Title which a component of that requires you to buy the entire shop where you spend your Chimes and Taijitu. That task will cost so many of those two currencies that I would recommend waiting until you get those level 90 skills before attempting it so that you can also use the training methods to push you to level 99 at the same time. Hope this helps, goodluck!
The Oldak Coil is similar to the Dwarf Multicannon. It takes up a 3x3 area of space when deployed, and can attack targets within a 9x9 area. Great guide dude. Can we get a guide for the dominion tower too?
I’ve actually never done anything with the Dominion Tower before so maybe once I learn more about it I can make a guide.
It’s very stressful, I had to do so many boss fights just to get all the pages for the dominion journal
Survive a number of floors to get one of the achievements done to unlock the head statues rewards
Beat over 700 boss fights for one of the achievements
You can get all of the unlocked rewards and items unlocked, if you add them to the coffers, your xp reward book will increase its xp you’ll get and it’ll add more of a reward to the chest when you open it

On the wiki, it says if you destroy the dominion tower book while only a few pages are put in it, you’ll have to collect them all over again if you destroyed it
Thanks for all the information!
Are miniauest time gated? Juat doing all them gives about 39 taijatu

apparently you dont know of the ed1 chime farming method that gets you up to 7k chimes an hour with a group and 3 to 5k chimes solo per hour lol

the answer is farm ed1 :)
