If my bm wins even though she cuts herself when she is pregnant and kicks me out the house, makes me homeless, and leaves the house at 12:00 at night to run off somewhere that she calls “her space” and leaves her two daughters with me that are not my responsibility, shit i take more care of her kids then she does.

Bro I haven’t seen My Only Son in almost 3 damn weeks now, and I have taken care of Hin since the Evening He was Born, the woman I was with and her 20 year old daughter beat the shit out of me bc they knew I wouldn’t hit them back bc I haven’t ever hit a woman. Then got Epo’s and stuff on me, and lied said she had filed for divorce before the Epo and stuff, so I went yesterday to file first, and get an attorney. But I still couldn’t see My Son bc she filed those statements 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

@@codykinney8218 my bm just went to court and literally told them she wants me to have 50/50 custody and she’s mentally unstable and stopped taking her medication prescribed by the doctor on her own and use going to church and praying as her excuse and also told them that CPS was just at her house in may…. and the judge has nothing negative to say for me… I’m not mentally unstable, I have way better living conditions, I literally have evidence of her neglecting my child, my other 3 kids live with me and their mom( my wife), never had a CPS issue at all and I have a son older than me and her child. So if all these years I’ve been a parent with no incident how did that lady still look at her and give her legal and physical sole custody of my child 🙃🙃🙃 …. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this all be about money they don’t care about the well being of a child fr💯

God bless brother, I agree that everyone out here must protect their health, heart & mental because the devil has been trying to use unhealed males & females to turn other males, females and children against oneanother which is hurting everyone who is falling for the toxic traps that feeds on your trauma, negativity and wounds but dosen't tell you how to heal, grow, live in harmony with men, women and children like God instructed us all too. The men, women and children who are turning to God, healing, repenting, growing, forgiving and letting go of the toxicity with Gods help are being healed, helped, becoming happy, being Blessed, waking up from the dark depressive fog that's been plaguing men, women and children and you can to, the first essential step is God. There are plenty of men that have the support of their moms, sisters, fathers, step fathers, churches, friends and kids all thanx to God. Keep your focus on God, positivity, growth and high vibrational healing as you obey God while staying away from the unhealed mindsets that will pull you back down such as (the all men/all women bashing people, the "nobody cares about you" people, the "you don't need a man/woman" people, the "there is no God" people, it's all a trap to distract, discourage and dismantle you. Focus on God, pray for everyone and yourslef as God reveals the truth and help you excel to who he has created you to be for his kingdom, you'll be glad you did😎

I wrote it down his feeding times, events, bed times everything so when you go to Court, your child is most likely going to be appointed by a law guardian, and you want the law guardian to technically be on your side even though they represent the child as per the other parent, you need to prove to the judge that the child is better off with you primarily you need to prove that you could mentally, physically any financially could take care of this child, and you could give the love he/she deserves honestly more than the other parent

I will say if you are a father/parent who now has to fight to make sure you can be a positive force in their life, do not give up! Cost a little money. But then, when you go pick up your child and watch the look on their face when they see you and stop everything they are doing and run full tilt at you yelling "daddy" (in my case) you know it was worth every penny! Thank you everyone on here for your kind words and encouragement. I now see my son all the time and he is a complete daddies boy.
I never get any sleep anymore. Never have privacy in the bathroom. Have even memorized the first three seasons of Thomas and friends and that stupid intro song. Get random kicks in the head. Have to constantly leave work early to pick my son up to do one thing or another. Have more laundry than any one person should have piled up in my laundry room. And I wouldn't change a second of it. Ive never felt more that I have a sense of purpose in life. I feel to this point going and fighting for my son was the single most important thing I have ever done in my life. Its even helped my sons development. His daycare noticed a huge positive change in him since I have been involved.
If you are on here looking for advice from this channel you came to right place. And Ill say this, Do not give up! Fight! Fight to be a positive force in your child's life! No matter what it costs, how long it takes, keep fighting. It will pay off in the end in ways you cant even imagine!

@@cheyennevazquez1810 Im telling you If you show you want to be there bring her before a judge, as long as you have never endangered that child or any child etc, you will get at least 50\50. Judge will likely give you one chance to work it out between yourselves. If you cant the judge will decide and will likely be 50\50 (not a lawyer but from what I have learned) with judge deciding the custody schedule. I got to court after all off it the judge didnt even let either off us speak told us we had once chance to work it out. And decide on a reasonable custody agreement. If we cant decide the she will and you wont have a say in scheduling.
Either way you likely wont be kept from your child. Best of luck to you man! dont give up and don't give into the hate. Just fight for her. Every decision you make now has to be for her best interest. You do that then you'll be every bit the father she needs! And dont feed into the arguing with the mom. Especially around the child. Court heavily frowns on children having to be caught in the middle. And child being used as a weapon.

If your a father don't count on getting full custody, that does not happen. Just hope that she does not prevent you from visitation, because all she has to say is the kids don't want to go, the kids are sick ( next week too) and your relationship ends with your children. It's that easy for her. The courts won't really care as long as your paying. Divorce with children is a bad deal for the father.

Thanks for the information, it definitely is well needed in a biased system when dealing with custody. I myself am in the midst of a custody battle of my 11-year-old daughter. It's been an uphill battle proving the man I am, which started in July 2022 and so far, I have been awarded temporary emergency custody (a victory in itself). I am absolutely positively the best parent of the 2 of us, providing a clean, stable, loving, nurturing, and positive environment for our amazing daughter. She went from an average A, B, and C student with her mother, not spending a minute investing into her education, to now A STRAIGHT A+ HONOR ROLL, PERFECT ATTENDANCE STUDENT every marking period, IN AP CLASSES, being with dad who makes education a top priority. She is beyond happy and prefers without a doubt to be with her daddy!!! It's simple, love on them, guide them, make them your priority, PROTECT them, motivate them, allow them to make mistakes and learn from them, talk to them, support them, and show them that you will always be there for them NO MATTER WHAT!!
So far, my BM and I have had a total of 4 court hearings, and I have won each and every one, by providing straight facts, documentation of everything, and showing beyond a reasonable doubt why I am the clear choice to raise our beautiful young Queen. In May of 2024 will be our final chapter and ruling. I'm not only doing this for my daughter's happiness and future, but for ALL men fighting this biased system. I wish all men in this situation, the peace, strength, and the mental & emotional toughness for victory. Do your homework, get yourself a competent and understanding lawyer if you can (money well spent), prepare, prepare, prepare, keep the faith, and STAY STRONG!! ✊🙏💪👨‍👧

Had a seizure while pregnant and refused to go get the baby checked out because she was afraid that she will lose her license. Had one seizure after he was born too, and she only knew about it because it was caught on the baby cam. She lied about her seizures to the mediator during mediation. She refuses to let me have any contact with his drs or the daycare where she sends him rather than to me. I feel so lost. I dont want my son to have a hard life like I did. All I want is chance to be there for him. Teach him. Be a father to him. Like I never had. I feel so lost right now. Just trying to hold on till court. Sometimes the other parent settles down and stops their bad behavior after the court order is finalized. But sometimes they don't. If the court order was final and you are in the next stage of life...then if you go back to court for nonsense because she is creating trouble, you might want to petition the court for a change of custody due to a change of circumstance...where you become the primary custodial parent if she is unable to coparent, or If she withholds custody, or if she creates so much drama that it has a negative psychological impact on the child, for example. Unless you are wealthy, you are screwed if you are the father. When I divorced by narcissistic ex-wife, I became the ex-father. Your children get twisted, manipulated, and alienated from you…..completely weaponized. The courts don’t care. Unless you can afford to hire an expert on parental alienation, the courts are gonna miss it, trust me. The children get completely brainwashed and objectified by a toxic mother who is a master manipulator and is engaging in coercive control over their ex-partner, which is a form of domestic violence no one talks about. “You left me so I am going to control you and make you suffer by keeping the kids from you. I will not let them love you”. It’s a tragedy and the children, who are forced to choose between their mother or their father, are punished. After 10 years of police investigations, false child abuse allegations, family services investigations, depositions, court hearings, mediators, guardian ad litems, quibbling over custody agreements, forced interviews with therapists that only get one side of the story, I finally gave up. I had a choice…..keep fighting and have my kids get punished more for trying to have a relationship with me or walk away and hope that when they are adults that they will want to see me. Pick my poison. Hardest decision I ever had to make in my life but I did it for them. It burns AND I still have to pay child support for children my ex-wife will not allow me to see. Fathers do not have a fair shake within family courts and abusive mothers are not talked about or held accountable. Enough. If you are a father and you have been through this….speak up. It’s time to bring the darkness into the light.

@@damonmoorepage That’s the problem, there we only a handful of experts on parental alienation and most of us aren’t rich. They aren’t cheap. The other issue is that parental alienation in these scenarios is usually perpetrated by a narcissistic or psychopathic mother. The experts on parental alienation corroborate this and state clearly that therapists, judges, psychologists, and lawyers who are not trained to identify this sort of abuse will miss it. In fact, they will view the clinging of the children to their abusive mother and rejection of the other parent (normal response for a traumatized child that has been brainwashed) is “normal” and proof that the father is the abuser. Abused children tend to protect or cling to their abuser. It’s tantamount to “Stockholm Syndrome” where kidnapped persons will begin to bond with and identify with their kidnappers to survive.

Mothers attorney talked for an hour which was all the time we had record at the end judge released her gavel and said I’m giving total personal custody and eliminating the fathers rights click. Fortunately my attorney was able to speak before she turned off the zoom camera and asked if the court investigator could be appointed. The judge agreed said that she would take the recommendation of the investigator and the hearing would be after the evaluation. Afterwards I talk to my lawyer about my civil rights wishing for me if I mentioned anything again about my civil rights she was gonna drop me as a client. I was very confused as I didn’t understand I thought lawyers were supposed to protect our rights I didn’t think about the amendments at all during family court until afterwards when I was looking up more and more information and how I lost all my parental rights over here say and the mother’s word. Judge Kirby is the most sexiest person I’ve ever met in my life it doesn’t hide it just puts it right out there you’re a guy you’re gonna lose. My lawyer was so afraid of what Judge Kirby was going to do to her that she dropped me because again I did mention my silver rights were trampled into the ground door and I was upset that she was ignoring it. My lawyer then dared me to represent myself because no one would represent me in civil court to recuse Kirby. The checklist to go over makes me a great father is my favorite thing in the . And now it’s gone it’s been one years now happens life is gone half the man I used to be the o🎉ne time I was proud happy go lucky person that believed in everybody in their heart. Guys and fathers ,
Judges are lawyers . They don’t give a damm about child or best interest .
Their only interest is to get their colleagues (lawyers ) more business .
That’s why men become visitors to their own children.
If men started getting custody easily then how will divorce lawyers survive ?
Whenever any state tries to pass the law for equal custody, lawyers and bar association are the first to oppose it .
Be wise . 1 custody battle provides salary to at least 2 lawyers.
Fathers , next time you vote, ask the congressman or representative if he will support the law of presumptive equal custody .
This is the only way and KY has done it.
Else fathers will be just visitors for their children an still end up making their ex rich .

    • @damonmoorepage
      @damonmoorepage  2 года назад +1

I agree with what you said about a presumption of equal custody. I might make a video about that one day.
I disagree with what you said about judges trying to help lawyers get more business. Judges do not care about getting lawyers more business. Judges care about two things: (1) making a ruling that the judge can live with and (2) getting the case off the judge’s docket so that the judge can address the next case.
There are primarily two instances in which a judge will do something that helps a lawyer’s business. First, when a lawyer files a motion to withdraw from the case, a judge will often grant that motion even though the judge does not have to grant that motion. Second, at the end of a case a judge might order that the losing party pay the winning party’s attorney fees.
Finally, you said: “If men started getting custody easily then how would divorce lawyers survive?” I am inferring that you think divorce lawyers would be harmed by men having an easier time getting custody. You would be mistaken if that is your belief. If men could get custody as easily as women, then the custody fights would be even more intense (and profitable for lawyers) because men would put up more of a fight. Right now, a lot of men give up because they don’t believe the system will give them a fair shake.
Then again who knows…Perhaps more people would stay together. Right now I think women are more inclined to walk away from a relationship because they know they are likely to be awarded the children, the house, and child support when they go.

      @FatherX2022 Год назад

@@damonmoorepage you said, "If men could get custody as easily as women, then the custody fights would be even more intense". Not sure that's true. If 50/50 custody was the starting point, less women would go to court, because they wouldn't have an advantage. More men would go to court. BUT...there likely would be less acrimony because each person isn't fighting for primary custody plus giant child support awards. If both parents knew it was extremely hard to go from 50% to 80% custody, they would likely settle for 50% and walk away. No? We'd also have to revamp the child support calculations so that it's not such a large profit for the custodial parent. (Generally, if the non-custodial makes > $50k, the custodial is making a profit on child support...based on the math + reality of raising a child.)

      @@damonmoorepage Sir,
For starters, I was always on time with child support, I talked to my son daily over the phone and through FaceTime. I always exercised my visitation, unless I was on a business trip. I coached his soccer teams, taught him how to ride his bike, taught him how to swim, managed his grades, etc…I’ve always been very involved with him. I’m also in the military, so I move every 3 to 4 years.
My ex-wife did everything in her power to keep my son away from me. When she moved to another state without consulting me at all, I asked if he could fly on the un-accompanied minors program, and she refused. Our initial case was pushed until the day before his Christmas Break, so I ended up having to drive from Virginia to Texas and back to get my six days with him, as their were no available tickets anywhere. He was 10 at the time.
When I opened a case to modify our parenting plan, which would have allowed him to fly un-accompanied, her and her lawyer pushed the hearing four times, which resulted in me not getting my summer vacation time with him (I lived in Hawaii and would have had to fly from Hawaii, to Texas, back to Hawaii, and then I’d have had to fly back with him to Texas). The judge ruled in my favor. She then tried to fight me in court to prevent me from getting 42 days of summer vacation (she only wanted me to get 30), the judge ruled in my favor.
She constantly bad mouthed me to my son, calling me a “narcissist” and an “evil person” all because I wanted my time with my son. I only found out because he asked me “Dad, what’s a narcissist, because that’s what mom said you are”. When I found out that she was dating and had moved a felon who was actively on parole for several counts of DV into her home, she took my son’s phone away and filed a motion to get more child support from me…like why would you do that? My son ended up calling me from school on his passing periods because he wanted to talk. I ended up taking her to court over it and the judge made me the custodial parent. He now lives with me, at 13.
All I’ve ever wanted was my time and I shouldn’t have had to fight in court for over five years to get it. I could see if I was a deadbeat and I just came out of nowhere, but since the day my son was born, I have been involved in his life in every capacity. I didn’t even ask the judge that she pay child support, because I don’t need her money.
People complain all the time when the father or mother are deadbeats…but I was an involved father. What more could anyone have asked for? Take the high road and don’t play dirty. It isn’t about us, it’s about our son. The only time she gets mentioned in my home is when I tell him to call her.

Once you can answer that without bias, then you can start tackling the case. So many times we use our bitterness towards the mother to fuel our fight for the children. Today I am so incredibly thankful that we did not “bash” each other. The mistake I made was thinking that my 2nd husband would also have our only daughters best interest in mind. Wrong!! It’s been 4 years since our divorce and he has yet to assist financially or emotionally with our teenager. Unfortunately, it’s time to go to court to get our daughter what she deserves. Another problem is that he cannot hold a job due to substance abuse and recently got a DUI. His behavior with our daughter has scared her so bad that she no longer wants to visit him. He moved out of state right after the divorce. I could go on and on but I’m sure y’all get the picture. I live in Ontario. For child custody, there is a list of criteria the judges goes trough (Children’s Law Reform Act, s. 24(3)). The list is not complicated to understand and makes perfect sense.
The problem is for the most part, the father works more than the mother. Mother is in general more involved in the children's lives (doctor visits, extra curricular acivities, packing their lunch, etc...).
The judge goes trough the list of criteria examining facts after separation, but also (mostlý) before separation.
99.9% of parents are unaware of the list of criteria until they go to court. It makes sense the parent with higher income works more. It makes sense the parent with lower income sacrifices working hours to take care of the kids.
The bread winner, by working more, acted in the best interest of the family. And at the same time, was unknowingly hurting his/her divorce case that was to occur 2-5 years later.
There is some overlap between "best interest of the child after separation" and "best interest of the family before separation", but it is by no mean a perfect overlap.
The applicable laws change overnight after separation, and it's like "a new law" is applied retroactively.

Xavier, I agree judges get this wrong. BEFORE court...you had 2 parents in 1 home, splitting 2 roles...worker and homecare. But AFTER separation...you have 2 parents in 2 homes...and each parent has to do 2 jobs to manager their own home: work and homecare. Judges try to replicate the OLD structure, and just give custody to mother, the home care person. But the real question is: in this NEW world, which parent is better suited to have both roles, including working and caring for the child?

Best of luck to you and your daughter. Are you sure you want to go for "full/sole" custody, and remove the mom from the child's life? Or do you really want "primary custody". If the mother abandoned your daughter, or she is a danger to the kid...I understand sole custody. But if not, you may risk the court thinking you are just being vengeful to the mother. Just something to think about. Every case is at least a little different.

I can only encourage you to visit Michigan and the friend of the court in Michigan. Men walk in guilty until proven innocent and the only thing enforced is the money that comes out of their check each week. Mother can violate the court order for visitation the day after the judge signs an order. Father calls the police to ask for a police officer to escort him to the agreed upon pick up destination and the agreed upon time and they will be told that it is a civil matter and that they will have to go back to court. Miss a few child support payments and that same officer who was unwilling to escort you to pick your child up will wind up at your front door with a pair of handcuffs ready to take you away for noncompliance.

    • @damonmoorepage
      @damonmoorepage  2 года назад

I agree with the notion that the system comes down harder on people who violate child support orders than it comes down on people who violate visitation orders. However, the court will give you some relief if the mother is violating the visitation orders. the key is to be persistent. When the mother denies visitation, you have to file a motion for enforcement and force the court to hear the case. The judge is likely to give the mother a slap on the wrist the first time. So you will may have to file another motion for enforcement as soon as the mother violates the orders a second time. Eventually, the judge's punishments will get progressively worse. (Note: in some states, the parent who violated the orders will be ordered to pay the attorney fees of the innocent parent if you can prove that the wrongdoer violated the court orders.) The reason that more fathers are not able to take advantage of the laws that apply to mothers who deny possession is that a lot of fathers do not consistently take the mother to court when she violates the orders.

@@damonmoorepage I appreciate you taking the time to respond. My emphasis in my comment is on nonenforcement of parenting time. Mother can flake out at her discretion with virtually zero consequence while fathers paycheck is hit religiously regardless of his current situation. The entire system is slanted in favor of the woman. The court does no follow up on if child support is going to the children nor does it care. Even in reading your response the burden being on the father to take more time and money and go back into the meat grinder seems wrong. The bottom line is if they have the authority to get into my pay check they should also be obligated to enforce the visitation they "granted".

If I could give my lawyer a zero, I would. He's inexperienced, and he did barely the bare minimum for the 3,000 dollars I paid him!, dont believe those reviews and awards on lawyer website, he got his retain fee and left. I hired lawyer in June 2022 to fight my child modification case, and then what he said was an easy win since the other party abandoned the child for almost 4 years and guaranteed me a victory. lawyer through his email, court documents, and writing, sounded like he was a good lawyer that's fighting hard, but sadly, through writing that's were his zeal stopped. Court day came in August, and he was a deer caught in the headlights before the judge. The judge would ask me a question, and I would reply, lawyer, what do you think? Lawyer was quiet and seemed he didn't know what to say, literally being bullied by the judge. As the judge determined, I and the other party needed mediation, which I looked at lawyer like how are you not fighting for my concerns. After the hearing was over I spoke to lawyer on the phone as he charged me money for it, he told me "that wasn't the outcome he didn't think we would happen" but im like you was a deer in a headlights. A month later, in September, during the mediation again! lawyer balantly sat there and again I was like lawyer are you going to say something? he utter well she should do reunification therapy, I sat there and was like I sought full custody and the other party is still getting their rights!.... after the mediation lawyer said and I quote said to me "this is the outcome we wanted right" No you told me and assured me a victory and since it's "not going to plan" as you said you're folding. In my last verbal conversation, lawyer told Im glad we settled since if we go back to court, it's going to be more expensive, and I quote he spoke, "Good luck." Good luck, lawyer? leading me to believe after he saw the retaining fee has been used up, he's out now. lawyer thought this was a walk in the park type of money child case. Fast forward to November of 2022, I fired lawyer and the response was he was satisfied with our results. Im like, really, what did you accomplish other than reunification therapy? So lawyer worked for me about 5 to 6 months before I fired him, so afterwards, I filed in December 2022 to change counties and venue's since I mentioned to lawyer that Ramsey county shows favoritism and let's move to Hennepin so I could have a fair outcome he said let's see how Ramsey judge will go. December 2022 court date came I won on my own change of venue which Lawyer couldn't do when he worked for me.... In January 2023, I sought child support since lawyer refused to put the individual on child support, so I won that as well without lawyer....fast forward I reapplied for full custody in Hennepin county on February 2023 and court date was set for May and guess what I won sole legal and physical custody on my own without the lawyer the same amount of time I hired him it took me as well the 5 to 6 months on my own and won!!! ....Im a single father, and I beat the odds with very little legal help to all you fathers and some mothers trust in God and his son Jesus for these battles! I won with the Lord's help! I would never recommend that Law firm period!!! now me and my house are moving the hell out of state 🫡✌️after 5 years of fighting.... At least refund my 3000 grand retainer fee for the bare minimum ass job 😑

This past year mother has filed to transport child on her time to school with 34 tardys and 7 truancy’s. for 2 years has failed to assist child educationally by assisting child in completing homework and has failed to sign homework log on her days for 2 years. Mother uses my home as a childcare on her time. She picks child up from my home 6:30 7pm while our child gets out of school at 2:30. mother ignores child’s wants and needs when child has expressed that she would like to stay with me until thursday after school. Mother is self centered and has had 3 other children all with different fathers and now has married someone in jail and has now taken on prisoners child and is now unemployed.

A child unable to speak but showing signs of less than appropriate care or less than what would be given in the other parents home? A lot of the examples you gave make sense, but I don’t see how to apply them to a 2-3 year old. Preschool will start next year, the distance between homes is too far to support a 50/50 timeshare. “Best interest” standards per Florida statutes seem to lean heavily towards alienation or patterns of. However, it still doesn’t seem to really be the standard for legitimate, favorable rulings when I hear it discussed amongst attorneys, both local and nationwide .

I lost custody of my son 2 years ago. My son was 6 years old and i was a single mother. His father made an application for custody totally unexpectedly Went to court and the judge just took his fathers side granted him full custody until my son is 18.
I am a 40 year old woman now i won't be having any more kids and i only get to see my boy once a fortnight. Son now 8 i have another like 9 years of this punishment. I never stopped his father from seeing him and i was happy to let him see him as much as he wanted so when i asked him why he did it he just smirked and said it was a punishment because our relationship ended and he decided that our son should be with him instead of me.
Every single day without my boy is a total punishment make no mistake on that. I think about him and miss him every single second of every day, i wonder what he is doing. I think about how i am missing out on so much with him and how i am denied the chance to have experiences and memories with him. I look forward to seeing him for a few hours every 2 weeks but its no where near enough and i always feel so bad when the time ends.
Some complete stranger decided on this punishment which makes my son suffer as much as i do because when he sees me he says that although he is relatively happy with his father, and not abused. he misses me and wishes he could come back home. I told him i feel the same way.

The women get primary custody unless the men can work hard to prove they're great fathers. Fathers are assumed guilty until proven innocent. Mother's are assumed the best parent until proven otherwise by the father.
