Hello Tracey&Jim,1st i 'd like to say that i love to watch your channel. I admire the way you're making a living! In my youth i worked as a farmhand and ran combines aswell. The 1st 1 was a tiny Clayson M103 with a 10ft header 🙂(used to be a Belgian brand before it blended in with NH) I would give a million💰💰💰 to team up with you guys ! Keep safe and have a blessed harvesttime! Grtz from Belgium.

Great video. It’s quite hypnotic watching the wheat being cut. Where about in ND are you based? My family here in Kent, UK had farms and all hands were on deck when they did combining. Al
Great video! It is so visually satisfying watching those rows of corn harvested. How much if the operation is done with remotely with GPS?? Also, what do you guys do during the winter?
Love your videos, I really enjoy watching the big machines farming. I know everyone on youtube wants to be a critic. One suggestion, sometimes its nice just to hear the equipment don't feel like you need to add music. :-)
Thanks for your comment and suggestion. I’d like to include the equipment sound vs music however if it’s shot from the drone, the only sound if possible would be the propeller noise. 🙂
Wow thats a great yield that far north. What part of ND are you. Im hoping to put one smaller field i next year. Im about 150 northn of the border. Lots grown in South MB. But not up here except for silage. Ive got smaller fields surrounded bu bush so hope that will help with extra heat units.
i guess all of that, but soil quality-fertiliser-right amount of rain, and so on helps too,, not to mention right type of corn and no bugs and no storms destroying the crop!
Why do you ask? That machine has has a dingle longitudinal rotor from front to rear just behind the rear of feeder house the final cleaning is done over two very large seives.
Is it common for some farmers to wait until January to combine corn in North Dakota? I keep hearing about leaving corn out until January so that it dries and it doesn’t seem like it would be very easy so get equipment to run that time of year

theburbankblues yeah I’m from valley city about 2 hours north of ya there’s still a crap load of corn acres on even some beans and I’ve seen wheat too just a shit show this year. Some guys were doin corn here bout 3 weeks ago before that last big snow we had now it’s just facked.
Maloy7800 It’s a grain dryer. It pulls the moisture down to about 13% so it can be binned without rotting. It burns natural gas and fans to push hot air thru the grain. So there’s a lot of steam and dust generated.
This is 10/10

Looks like an awesome job. Beautiful equipment.
Like a big lawn mower. Corn is a type of grass too.
Hey from mid-central Minnesota
great video! Can I use 10 seconds for a news report?
I’m sorry. No.
good day. tell me when you start sowing corn and when you harvest. with what moisture do you harvest corn?
April/May for sowing. October/November for harvest. Moisture range from 18-24% and then dry it down to 14.5%.
How are you getting 250 bu/ac (over 15 t/ha)?? Plant population? Seeding rate? Row spacing?
i guess all of that, but soil quality-fertiliser-right amount of rain, and so on helps too,, not to mention right type of corn and no bugs and no storms destroying the crop!
Awesome 👍 video
I love this job
ОК! Where is the grain separator to remove the impurities out of grain?
Why do you ask? That machine has has a dingle longitudinal rotor from front to rear just behind the rear of feeder house the final cleaning is done over two very large seives.
Was this the series a s combine?
Good yielding. Please Haw production tons per hectare please
Varry nice jop and nice area

That’s not desirable but this year with the wet conditions everything is delayed. Most if not all corn is dried after harvest.

Do yall steer the combine during harvest or does auto trac be engaged
Auto is engaged for most of it except turns and some headlands.
What is the moisture on that corn averaging . Just found your site great video !

how much for a harvest of corn this size about?
250 Bushel /Acre how much ton(1000kilo)/hectare (10.000sqm)is that?
Are those similiar tires that the Welker Farms boys put on Goliath our there in Montana. They look great on that Deere.
These are 1250 LSW tires.
Please give me the yield ing by tons per hectare please

Awesome! What’s the steam part about?
That’s a result of the grain drying process. Corn is heated to reduce the overall moisture content. Thanks for watching!
Definitely not in the Red River Valley with all those hills and potholes! But looks like you have some good corn regardless.
This is about 60 miles west of the valley. Thanks for your comment.
Now comes the hard part : ploughing (plowing) such compacted soil. How does that work out with North Dakota soil?
Big tractor...big horsepower...no problem.
Did u get all your corn acres off?
Yes but some in other areas of the state are still combining in the snow.

Yes with soybeans.
Awesome footage. Would love to hear the real sounds without the music
Drone noise? Nothing to hear...
Is that Corn meal, or is that The Maida?

Based on what i can find corn price wise right now. You're taking off about $1k and acre
Pls can you support a small scale farmer in Africa (Nigeria) with this your innovative technology.
Yielding please

No cab corn. I can't believe it!!😂
It does not look all that wet out there. It was much wetter near Grand Forks where a lot of soybeans never got combined..
Yes this field was in better condition than most but your right there were areas with a lot of unharvested crop.
WHAT HYBRID MADE THAT YEALD ?
Must be dekalb or syngenta. Lol
