depend you know there is studio tv show who prefer not live cause bad sound environement to make live kind of thing, sometimes its not about the artist choice
As far as I know British tvs didn't allow artists to lip sync songs, they were to sing live over a pre-recorded track. You can take a look at other artists at Top of the Pop's as well.

Sobre a cantora, ela fez a capa de um dj italiano que era produtor na Itália, e ela foi convidada a fazer uma música pro álbum, após isso foi produzido dois singles até Freed from Desire fazer sucesso. Ela sempre disse que não gosta de eurodance mas gosta de dançar, então na oportunidade ela aproveitou. Escreveu todas as letras e as melodias do álbum dela mas por justamente não querer seguir com o que não agradava rompeu com a gravadora. Sobre a performance, tem playback sim, a base com o instrumental de estúdio e voz.

She doesn't use lip synch here as so many other "dance" singers do then & still do. Good performance. Her voice is beautiful.
