I HIGHLY recommend putting him in relentless and use cycle of magic over lore of steel. This helps a lot with his debuff uptimes and can often allow him to a2 and a3 in effectively the same go. Reflex is ok but since it only reduces 1 skill randomly its not as good and doesnt have that double turn debuff potential. Get him booked with this and i promise hes useful. Also dont forget his a2 is ALSO part dispel to combine with his a1. Thats more useful than most think imo. I havent used him in a while for this...but he stopped using his a3 on auto for me on clan boss the last time i used him there however....super annoying bug in AI. For reference my 2nd f2p account pulled him early on and I used him ALL the way to dungeon 20s until I pulled draco some time later but even then his aoe decrease attack is attractive still.
I love that even if something goes way south, you still have the courage to show people just the kind of things that can happen when you least expect it. I think that is a big part of what makes Raid so much fun.
Hes literally my favorite epic. His a2 also reduces buff durations. This with the a1 is pretty nutty for keeping buffs off your enemies. Not to mention his a3 isnt a 'hit' so affinity doesn't matter when you're trying to drop defence. He was the first epic I decided to fully book and never once regretted spending a single one of those 14 books. I also 6 starred mine because I had a perfect banner for him with acc and dub speed rolls. Never once regretted the 6 staring either. He's my boi
Just got spider early game around level 30, just a quick look at his skills and the cost to max him, he seems like a legit bomber. Actually pretty stoked to work with him and see how I can manage his position and optimization in the team. :)
He slightly misread Spider's A3. The Dec. Def books to 100% but the weaken only books up to 70%. Thats why it wasn't dropping all the time. Good guide video other than that.
Not sure if you know now, this is 8 months old, but you can control your books. Click on the skill, then click the book, then click upgrade, and it will book that skill. You need to do it one by one, but it will book the chosen skill.. if you don't know, now you know!
Just FYI, it won't work if you click more then one book. Need to do it one by one, takes an extra minute, but you can control your books for situations like this one.
one part that IS nice with his DEC DEF being placed and not hit is, if you are running an HP BURN team, you aren't doing extra damage to the little spiders and killing them off. (as stag knight would.)
With every raid video, from whichever raid youtuber, I watch there’s a question constantly sitting in the back of my mind. Seeing the crazy number of legendary, epic, and rare characters (which are usually all fully upgraded and geared), extra books, gear, etc laying around, what do you think would be a rough dollar amount they’ve all spent on this game. I mean I’ve been playing for close to two years with the same account and as a rule of thumb I don’t buy anything while playing mobile games yet over all that time I may have at most spent around 100-150… and I only have 4 legendaries at 60 but far from upgraded probably even halfway and like 3-4 lvl 50 epics/rates I often use. No judgement if you spend money on this game, I’m just really curious how much it takes to have an account as stacked as these guys.
Mines fully booked, and I use him everywhere be a real 🐋 and unlock his true potential. I need all my cards to do damage, and he can do damage too, but properly equip him for it. I have Apothecary on my team, if he needs healed that's what Apothecary is for.
I really like this new approach of showing budget builds - I mean sure on godlike gear everything just works yet these builds are far more realistic representaion of the champs

I would love the idea behind it - but a champ with 75% debuff chance on a 3 turn CD is not gonna work as CB atk down ;). If he had 100% it would be really great with the included buff extension.
I've always thought he wasn't a bad champ. A great epic go-to for anyone who needs a defense down champ, or a champ to place a number of debuffs. The 6-turn cooldown must be a little painful, though. :)
Hey, how come no one ever does seducer? I carried me all through and i still use him for dragon and occasionally areana. I think hes a beast when built right
If you're gonna just do a budget build on him then you should have him do lower levels, not 20. Other than that, great content as always my friend and great champ that I recently picked up.
Spider is great. I ran him for the first few months I've been playing. But he quickly got out grown. The decrease attack isnt enough of a chance he failed alot and a3 doesnt work in auto. Or at least didnt.
Hey HellHades, it's cool that you make videos for early game players but, it would be also really cool to know what the champion is really capable of. Whether or not he can be useful for a more mid/late game player, thus if it's worth 6starring him. Still love your videos but the recent ones are a little too "early-game oriented"
My 2 week old account ended up pulling him I've been working on him between him and Alure are probably the best epic's I've pulled so far, was trying to decie on whether I should book him. Not sure if i should focus my early books as I don't have a ton on him or Alure. I was at least lucky enough to get a legendary early getting Brakus that has been very helpful. I haven't 6 starred anyone yet trying to decide between Kael or Soulbound Bowyer to try for my first 6 star. Additoinally also got Reliquary Tender from a void shard so my team is coming along pretty well. Couple questions if anyone wants to answer though shoudl I book Spider or Alure and should I 6 star Kael or Soulbound Bowyer first?
Hey.. Im an f2p/budget player and have a maxed Madam Serris but should I build Spider with Kantra to help me clear Spiders and FK? Im struggling with spiders and fire knight (cant clear spider15 and fk20) all other lvl20 dungeons I can auto (with Seris, RG, Apoth, Trunda and Reliquery Tender). I watched your Husk and Kantra guide and Im building them atm to beat those dungeons.. I'm unlucky to not have a Coldheart though and also dont have Miscreated.
I really wish you could just Sort by Name. It would make it MUCH easier to find people, so we aren't watching you try to find Spider and Kantra. And so I can more easily check for dupes ;)
Also, being able to set a favorite team. Maybe just 3 per dungeon, or something. It would make it easier to try a comp out, and then swap back to the other one.
If you let him cast his decrease attack first, he won't die, and neither will anyone else. I do decrease attack, do poison with Kale and lessor attack with Galek in arena, take their first volley then weaken defense and area nuke. You still don't know how to use him fully yet.

To be fair i think he need to be 6star if you want to run him in arena or 20 dungeons. because of his base speed he cant avord to loose speed rolls so a acc banner is needed to let him run faster.
Coldheart is broken in the shards i think. I've been playing almost to 210 days and pulled A LOT of voids. I've got like 3 Faceless, 2 Umbrals, a damn Siphi the Broken, but i just want a Coldheart
i think a level 50 champ is nearly as good as our normal lvl 60s. I tried some time to run a 50 in a 60s team in Dungeon 20. But either the Hp is to low or accuracy to low. so i had to take her to 60.
Just pulled Spider and he's on my list of champions to level, but not yet. I'm fairly disillusioned with this game. Arena is a painful slog, Spider boss is horrible. 3v3 arena is a waste of time.
ive got what feels like lots of good rares and a few good epics, hell even pulled my 1st legendary.,...but im still getting stomped in arena, and my "power" is still way lower than teams i feel like my guys are much higher than. idk if my gear just sucks or what where should i go to try and get advice? someone who could look at my champs and tell me who to be focusing on
Team power is not a huge factor. It’s usually due to high high resistance or just a strong great hall feeding more stats in. You want to look for teams to fight that’ll definitely be slower than you, or teams that just don’t make sense and target them

Reckless Renegade kael can do it for sure but if he’s not built for cb. I would recommend whatever your speed champ is into a aoe provoker or stunner or even block cooldowns. Followed by aoe dec def and nuke. The hard part is pushing your speed champ as fast as you can while keeping your others in range

Reckless Renegade getting your gorgor faster than your warmaiden too would be more effective as far as that team goes. But you’re lacking any form of control or way to stop the enemy team. Personally I’d take apo out and use gorgorab lead and then someone like MM or rock breaker or gurgoh or shirimani or gnarlhorn
as a low spender who also run a f2p account, I love how you are showing how to make lvl50 epic chars work on late game setups :)

Great champ - used him a lot in FW! You forgot to mention that he also has an AOE buff strip on his A2. Makes him a poor man's Serris.

Kymar won't reset skills on his first turn on auto in spider, but he does in all other dungeons

If there are more attack based champs vs defense based he uses A2 first A3 is first if there are more def champs, that's how he works in pvp at least.

1 year in still got no Seeker or him and I Ive been trying to get em since beginning.
They should buff his speed and the cooldown on the A3. They could also fix his AI so he does the A3 first.
