Great video as ever. Park experience wasn't the greatest for me. Only had two shinies, but luckily the city experience made up for it🤗. Congratz on your shinies Zoë and happy to see you had a great time.

Im so sad my friend wanted to do the city experience first and the Park in the afternoon so I was absolutely sure I would miss meeting you this time~ (I assume you havent been there in the afternoon, I didnt spot you while walking around) but now my friend regrets her decision because playing in the park in the afternoon was absolutely crazy hot, my skin is totally burnt because shadows were not really a thing in there (at least in the afternoon) and most people were just sitting under that tent-thingy, it was so difficult to walk around at all but sadly there were many more unowns coming from incense inside the park so I forced myself to stay there and luckily got 8 shiny Unown on the first day ,I think 6 of them were caught in the park and all of them or at least 5 of them were from incense. also one sad thing is that I lost 3 shinies trying to do the shiny Unown trick, one Zubat I found 2 minutes before the hour changed just despawned like 20 seconds earlier (was no lure or incense spawn) and one shiny tyrunt and a shiny tirtouga were nearly beside each other so I sacrified both of them but when the spawns changed for the Unown hour change nothing appeared in their place, both Pokemon just disappeared and so I waited until the Unown-2minutes were over in hopes to get the original spawns back but they were different spawns that were not shiny. Im a bit afraid to do the trick ever again haha.. For the city experience we played most part in Retiro Park which you recommended in your previous video, on Friday I had network issues around the lake, the second day it was still a little slow but at least working ,but there were alot of trees and shadows so we decided to play most of the event there on the second day. My goal was to get 100 Shinies for both days that I play but I "only" got 93 in total (and 96 if I count the lost ones), some of them were caught in the end at the airport, Im so glad the spawns and raids still appeared at the airport so we could at least play the event until the end, minus the walking around lol.
I really loved Madrid, its such a beautiful city and such nice people ,I hope you also enjoyed the city and the Event : )

Going to more than two in person Pokemon Festival event is a little not worth it because players only obtain one time mythical Pokemon in their very first in person Pokemon Festival event except Pokemon Festival 2022 featuring mythical Shaymin.
But anyway players boosted shiny rates for multiple type of Pokemon..

Wow looks so empty unlike Sendai
The park for Madrid is ENORMOUS compared to Sendai. But yes a nice quiet day 1 to warm up comparatively.
Probably because it's bigger people weren't as crowded. Though Madrid is probably going to be the least populated event, since Japan is always going to be a fave destination (plus has so many pogo players) and the USA stop will usually have a lot because the USA is massive and it's easier to not have to travel international, so Americans will crowd up New York. Madrid definitely has a huge local pogo base from the insane pokestops in game, but Id guess it would get the least amount of travelers (esp with the Madrid go fest being so soon after Japan go fest, people picking between them probably more picked Japan vs Madrid).

I really with that there was more to the game right now instead of just shiny grinds or PVP. Niantic is just doing the bare minimum at this point and you can tell due to the level of content being created by everyone. This is not a jab at you or anyone else, Zoe. It's just something I've been observing.
Theyve been adding new features like routes and party play, those just don't usually make great content. And pogo fest is for shiny hunting and raiding. I get what your saying, it'd be cool to have another element to go fest, but I worry if it's too significant there wouldn't be enough time.
