You actually don’t need to use your fingers to slide it off just push the eject button on the back and it will pop out a bit so you can turn it upside down and it will slide on its own!
I like the Nitro Deck+ but I don't understand why they released a soft, unprotective bag, instead of a hard case. I contacted CRKD and they said the hard case of the original Nitro Deck is compatible with the Nitro Deck+ but, as I said, I rather have a hard case with the proper holes for the joysticks in it. I'm afraid of pressing down the case by mistake and potentially damage the right joystick.
I need a controller that as a horn for the center of my palms or I get terrible cramps. I found the Nyxi Hyperion Pros and any of the Satisfye grips are what works for me. The Mobapad M6HDs are up there too but the shape is a bit off for my large hands. I can't justify any more 3rd party junk at this point. I need to be saving for that darn Switch 2!
@morterox2 you are so dramatic, wow. In the last 30 years there's been different controllers and gamepads of different configurations. Owning more than just 1 console you sometimes have to adjust to a different layout. And it's not hard to rewire your brain it only takes a little bit of getting used to. It's really not that bad..
@@TheInfiniteNine haha maybe a little bit dramatic but what you are saying is that it is worth it to configure everything to the back buttons and do not use the face buttons at all?
This looks much better than the original and I’m interested. I love 4 programmable rear buttons as I’m used to my Xbox Elite controller. I also like that this essentially carries the dock / video-out solution with you at all times. Have always been a fan of the Wii-U like gamepad with dual sticks on top. While not a huge pro to many, I do have a modded Switch where those analog triggers will be useful for other libraries of games. Would be really interested in hearing your thoughts on this in comparison to the Mobapad M6 HD before making a decision. Also, can we please get that sweet Gamecube Indigo in the new Nitro Deck +? I’d have ordered one immediately if so.
I would probably buy one if it will work with the switch 2. I agree with that it's a lot of money for something that might not even work for the next Nintendo system.
Doubt it will work if they change the size of the switch 2 to anything larger than 7 inches. Id hold off on purchasing this til they announce the specs
Looks cool, and the og is tempting, but i don't really need it bc im rocking the mobapad hds & I like my pokemon oled dock. Maybe if they release some awesome looking special edition.
I seriously don’t get it. People complain about the joystick placement all the time on the right but it’s like your hand is 99% pressing the buttons not the joystick so wouldn’t you want the buttons to be in a better spot than the joystick?
No way they don’t make a 3rd version and give it the Hori Split Pad butting and analog stick placement on the right side. Looks good and I have the first edition and use it a lot but split pad placements just feel better. Edit: the new one you don’t have to put your finger over the screen to help it eject, it does it automatically. The first one though is one thing I hate! You have to use your fingers over the screen to help it eject.
yeah the buttons being in a worse place and now the dock is worse still not having a hdmi. Im a bit disappointed with this "redesign" lol I think if it was cheaper it would be worth a pickup

Just snagged a 2nd hand nitro deck+ on Ebay for 50 quid very excited!

Basically they fixed the sticks but screwed the buttons up even more than the original sticks! lol 'Stick' with the original joycons.
Or you can relearn more than 30 years of using a controller and use all the programmable buttons
It's easier with the buttons on the bottom than the joystick
@@TheInfiniteNine yeah, throw away more than 30 years of learning how to use a controller because this novelty is worth it

Yeah that Gamecube colorway would be awesome on this, although I do love this see through idea!
ill probably buy one if it came in more colors but i love the original too
Will it work from type c to display port?
Ill keep my Mobapad HD thank you

Honestly if you've got mobapad M6 HDs you're set, no need for anything else 😅
Do you prefer this over the mobapad?
Please review legion go.
Would love to, just need to convince them to let us borrow one!!
Having to reach down for the face buttons like that looks really uncomfortable... No thanks. Sticking with the Retroflag.
It is uncomfortable! Worst cramp ever returned it after 5 minutes of playing

@@hansyali_ I mean you can have the best of both worlds looks at the steam deck and even Wii U. Really do t know what they was thinking
Same problem, the layout is wrong, they need to make a third version that has the layout of the Wii U gamepad, or even like the Steam deck.

clicky xbox one style dpad, or switch pro style dpad?

All of the decks look uncomfortable! I’ll stick to my Hori Pros
Update: I bought one and it's pretty cool!
The new layout is spoiled milk. They should have kept the sticks the same
