1/2 inch shorter, 10 degree head and a different shaft. It would be interesting to get the full apples to apples comparison with all the same specs. Still a good video and nice to see Titleist drivers coming back into the picture.
I know right! We didn’t have an adapter for the LAGP shaft or else I would have. I wanted to leave the Titleist how I was fit for it - same with the Cobra. Thx for checking it out 👊🏻
Good video, but if you’re not using the same loft and shaft it’s purely anecdotal. All you can conclude is they are both good drivers and you have great swing.
Brandon I had a golf pro at my club tell me once that Titleist drivers are like women who are 10’s in the looks category…. But the performance in other areas is always disappointing. 😂. The Cobra looks pretty slick too… and yours all blacked out looks dynamite. Love your videos!!! And you are not Cobra biased. And I don’t get the people attacking your distance…. I understand how trackman, top tracer, and GC quad work and there’s one category you can never BS and that’s ball speed…. And you are well north of 174+ mph ball speed. There’s a lot of RUclips channels of people who are in the 150 mph ball speed and trying to convince me that they’re hitting the ball 300 yards. 😂. Thanks for the great content! I still miss your M3 driver….
Ok, rewatched the TSR fitting video…I remember watching thinking “that works today…but I don’t think they know this guy like us viewers waiting for him to hit bombs in driver battles!” 😂 Turns out, stand by that assessment.
It’s possible they didn’t have that shaft in their fit cart at the time. There were a couple other shafts I wanted to try and they just didn’t have them unfortunately.
great video...nice to see someone from my home city on utube....I live in Vulcan now so only a hour away from Calgary..i am very interested in either the TSR2 or the new PING G430 theres alot of talk about it...all positive so far...hope you test it out also......MERRY CHRISTMAS have a great holiday season....cheers
As a Cobra fan-I am satified with the result!I would like to see the comparison again with a larger test group though.Cobra would still be hard to beat.Great test!
Sorry my friend!I was having a few convivials! What I clummsily stated wrong was meant to be a group of your buds -say 3 guys nuking balls to get a unified result! It was a great vid anyway!
Great test. Hard to beat the cobra. though I would say the titleist keeping up with the same smash factor despite the higher loft is a great sign for the tsr3.
Got fitted today. Ltdx edged out tsr2 for me. Not by a lot. Cobra performed better for me and I prefer the cobra look. Waiting to see that upcoming Aerojet though!
i swapped my cobra ltdx ls for the tsr2, much better consistency for me and still bombs. i played the stealth when it came out, it was a very delicate club imo. the powder coat on it was paper thin and the face pitted quick. both the cobra and titleist are tanks.
Do you do iron reviews? Those new mizunos look great but I’m curious how they perform against say p770 or p760 or the t100s or the newest pings or the new cobra forged tec (I know those are extremely strong lofted I think a 42 PW) But that would be interesting (any of those clubs vs. the newest mizunos)
@@NewNineGolf nice I’ll be tuning in. I am buying new irons next “season” been a AP2/t100 guy but may look else where for the first time. (I just love the look/feel/workability) it’s a tough combo (for me to beat) of course I can find “longer irons” but they feel terrible to me. (That aren’t “shovels”) haha
Just switched to the cobra ltdx ls with a ventus blue 8 from my TS3 hzrdous. I’m sure the Titleist keeps up, but one thing I noticed were that my misses with the cobra were still in play, especially the toe miss. Not sure if the TSR holds up to that, but it’s hard to argue a loss of 20 yards and likely close to the fairway with one stick, where the other is a 50 yard decrease and pushing the red and white stakes. Cheers!
Nice. Ventus blue 8? 💪 I get tired swing a 70g. Haha Ya the Cobra is a beast and gonna take a lot to knock it out of my bag. The TSR is def no joke though. Thanks for watching. 🍻
I am curious as to how my ultra forgiving irons would do ~$200 set in a review. I believe they are a perfect set for new golfers who do not want to spend ultra amounts of money getting into the game. If you would like to make a video on them in the future, let me know. I know a ton of people are looking for budget clubs. Great video as per usual, lots of information to take in.
I think the higher spin on the titleist has quite a bit to do with the shaft, what I notice however is both heads are pretty hot when it comes to the ball speeds you're getting out of your swing speed!
Ya totally. They're both awesome drivers. Soo close, I'd be happy with either. Testing some more new stuff next week! Excited to see what more I can get out of a driver. Haha
My shaft is on a cobra adapter. And I was fitted into the 10 degrees for the Titleist. Check out my titleist fitting video. He used my cobra driver with stock shaft as a baseline. ruclips.net/video/tb-LqolrWfQ/видео.html
I have the LTDX LS but never got along with the HZRDUS Blue 6.5. I now have a 44 inch Motore X F1 X-flex shaft with a 16 gram and an 8 gram weight in there. My gamer is actually a Callaway Epic Max LS but my longest is with the Cobra. Hopefully with the new weights (they now both weigh the exact same) with my weight adjustment will make it more forgiving. With the stock weights I could never really feel the cobra head although when I weighed them they were the exact same head weight. Now shaft and head total weight is the same but Cobra 1 inch shorter I think I can maybe find some more fairways with Cobra and bring it back to gamer status. I do feel the Callaway is a more forgiving head overall though.
looks like you got enough data (11 or 12 shots ideal for a statistical exercise). It would be interesting to see the best strike and the worst strike removed from each driver data set and then compare statistics! that would be closer to reality as we as drivers can occasionally NUT one and also miss one.
Good call. I was thinking that after the fact. Might do that for our next head to head video. I think doing that would've put the Titleist even closer. Both great drivers. Thanks for the feedback. 🍻
I wish for my first drive or club, i beat my uncles and cousins and I’m the only one without a driver, I am from Nunavut and 17 years old, only me out of my cousins can drive any par 4 if I wanted
i got turned off by Titleist finishes, ie i skied my 5 hybrid and the paint job didn't hold up at all, where as my cobra 4 hybrid finish hardly shows any marks after a skied shot. Plus Titleist are overpriced where i live and you have to submit to a quote system to get a price as do Ping, Reeks of Elitism. Cobra, TM, Callaway and Mizuno wins the day for me.
Ya the Titleist is more accurate. When I went for the Titleist fitting. They got me in that ideal 2k to 2500 spin for my speed and launch. Perhaps my delivery has changed slightly but where I play (quite windy) and how high I hit the ball. I can't have spin creeping up over 3k. I have all winter to tinker so. Lol

Very true. Both are phenomenal

😂😂 Very True! 👊🏻
Cobra LTDX is the best driver I’ve ever hit. It has the forgiveness of a Ping and the distance of a Taylormade. I dumped my TSI 3, will never go back.
That all black Cobra is life! I’m looking at an LTDx now but those orange graphics put pause on my click.
My only surprise from your fitting was that they didn't put you in the TX version of the HZRDUS , which is an option this year.
It’s possible they didn’t have that shaft in their fit cart at the time. There were a couple other shafts I wanted to try and they just didn’t have them unfortunately.
Editing, ending, and entertaining lol. Fav new channel
Thank you! Really appreciate it. 👊
Cobra all day.....watched one of your videos and went and tested the Cobra out....I soon sold my LS Rogue...🙈
Haha that’s awesome. Thx for the support 👊🏻
TSR3 works for me. It feels great and for me, it is more accurate than other new drivers including the Cobra.
Ya it's a great driver. Very accurate.
Good review man !! Greatly appreciated. Cheers from Canada East Coast Halifax !!
Cheers! 👊🏻
You need to give the lagp l iron shafts a go there great to
Hey Brandon,
Thanks for the reviews. I gave the channel a follow from YEG. Cheers.
Appreciate it! 🍻
Dang, that those are big drives. Next years cobra diver is what I wanna see
I’ll be reviewing it when it comes out.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you as well! Thanks for watching. We will be launching the G430 video in the new year.
Yes, I want to see TSR4!
Filming Today!

I did a full 2022 driver bracket on my channel. Top 8 drivers of this year.

Yep we’re actually releasing a game improvement iron video later today. We’re still waiting for all the new player irons to arrive.

I know exactly what you mean. I played AP2s for years. I’m excited to test all the new player irons. I was surprised who won my Game Improvement test.
@@NewNineGolf yes sir. I’ll be checking out your iron videos in the coming months
Thx for the support John 👊🏻
Oh your good lol love the ending
Haha thanks Brandon. 🍻

It’s the blue tr 8 stiff. If I remember correctly, it is 58g. Kickpoint and launch were awesome!
Great review Brando! Big fan of the Cobra….and was always a Titliest guy. Cheers!
Thx Laner 👊🏻
Solid content ! You are awesome
Thanks for the support Lou 👊🏻

I prefer the hosel, loft and shaft options of the Titleist better……much more tuneable!
Great video man,,,, ty!
Appreciate the support 👊🏻
Should have put your shaft in and set it to 9 degrees like the Cobra, then we would know for sure. TSR4 is smaller and harder to hit but lower spin.
My shaft is on a cobra adapter. And I was fitted into the 10 degrees for the Titleist. Check out my titleist fitting video. He used my cobra driver with stock shaft as a baseline. ruclips.net/video/tb-LqolrWfQ/видео.html

Interesting. I haven’t heard of the quote system before. Thx for sharing!
Tsr 4 would be better, low spin vs low spin,
Titleist is way more accurate! The spin on the cobra is super low yeah you hit farther but that is scary low and going to hurt you sometimes.
Ya the Titleist is more accurate. When I went for the Titleist fitting. They got me in that ideal 2k to 2500 spin for my speed and launch. Watching from Calgary - want to hit massive bombs!
Cobras are a bit fragile.
First person I’ve heard say that
I’ll NEVER trust another cobra after they started making their own knockoffs. Never. Trash company.
They make their own knockoffs? What are you talking about?
