Jack's new voice | National Star | AAC Device and Assistive Technology

Our Ullenwood student Jack has always dreamt of having a voice that sounds just like his family 🌟
He has been able to find his Brummie accent through National Star's Find My Voice project, which finds age appropriate, regional accents for students who use communication devices!
'There were lots to choose from thanks to the appeal by West Midlands Ambulance Service, and the BBC' … 'I wanted to make the right choice. It is going to be my voice for the rest of my life' said Jack.
After using many devices throughout his life, he is over the moon to have received his Brummie accent in time for Christmas with his family. 🎄❤️
'That nine-month wait that everybody else has before they hear their child speak, times that by 22 and it's amazing. It's magical,' said Heidi, Jack's mum.
Jack is now looking forward to going to an Aston Villa game with his dad!
