I don’t think people realise the subtlety in what Joel is doing here/what he does. Those grace notes and phrasing are beyond his years. I love these kind of comments. I have been saying this all along, Joel has something special. The fact that he listens to Elvis, the Beatles, the one you just mentioned, and many more. Makes me feel that he has barely tapped into that incredible talent he has. Hope he can take advantage of this talent in the future.
