I've been following Silja since I found Aurora, but this is the first full concert I see with this wonderful lady. I think she's so amazing and has a very sweet voice.....such talented beautiful artists in Norway.....first Norwegian artist that trapped me is Master Edvard Grieg whom I found at a very young age when I started studying piano........I remember the first song by him I was taught was Songs that My Mother Taught Me.....a very small and simple piece, never the less, very beautiful. Hats off for Norway!!!!!
She is pursuing her solo career and rightfully so. But, I can’t help to feel she should release songs in the English language just as AURORA who brought the light upon her. I would love to see this beautiful woman blow up.
@Soul Flame yes! English is not the only language to send messages through music (and art in general); yes, it is an international language, but today we are able to search the meaning of a song no matter the language of it... we can make that effort.
@@softuniverse7771 I completely agree. Since she left I don't listen that much to the newer things of Aurore. Her newer songs sounds too poppy for me. They aren't as dreamy and touching as her earlier work + Silja's background vocals were magical like you say.

I guess it historically has to do with folk music from Scandinavia. It’s very melodic music just like Irish folk influenced Irish pop music.

she is missed in auroras band for sure. as a pure vocalist she is at least as good as aurora, and was a major part of that sound
We already have too many english songs. The nordic languages are very beautiful, it are the languages of the elves! ;)

Aurora's craziest achievement may be that the world listens to norwegian language and loves it.
It would be nice but I see it hard, even with the intercession of the goddess Aurora.
