Now this is the most insane 330a elevator out of all the 330a elevators I’ve watched!!, this one has an epic startup & it sounds a little weird on a 330a but it’s worth because this elevator is insane & epic as hell!, it really out beats the original motor & it’s a lot more louder!! Indeed youtubes first!!
I would like to say now that this specific area has two rare HT’s. One 321A with the one of a kind chimes and now the first 330A to receive a dry powered motor that sounds completely different from any other HT. The rarest we’ve gotten was G pitched for an HT. This is rarer.
This is indeed rare for Schindler HTs to have dry powered motors because most HT schindlers use submersible pumps! But this one I didn’t expect the motor would die out just like that!
It sounds like a Dover pump! Sounds like the Dover elevator at the Tanglewood Mall Is this the original pump? Either way quite awesome for a Schindler!
@@Ih8escalatorsI didn’t expect a Schindler motor to die out just like that!, after 21 years later!! Not only it’s a RUclipss first but this is the first elevator to receive a dry power pump replacement!,& it indeed sounds like a Dover!
@Ih8escalators It has an EECO power unit. That's what Schindler used to use. It is most likely an original power unit. The one in your video, I don't know. You would have to record the machine room sound, and I can tell if it's a EECO power unit.
@@Ih8escalators2003 means 21 years later & the motor died!, which I find way too impossible because the Walt Whitman Macys had a motor installation for 60 years & then it got replaced in 2022!, that is what I called, the shortest lived motor pump Rip submersible pump 2003-2024
I KNEW there had to be AT LEAST ONE in existence
Sounds alot like a Dover now.
Yeah, that's weird
This elevator gone insane!, from submiserble to dry-powered 330a!, & it’s epic!!
@@EC_3276If I am not mistaken, I think this is the only 330A that has a dry powered motor
That sounds a lot like a Dover/Westinghouse motor, I like it! This is so weird to hear from a 330A of all elevators..
i’ve been on a dry powered HT before but ofc it was a mod obviously lol
DRY POWERED SCHINDLER HT?!?! Now that is quite a find!
WE’RE DETHRONING H&M WITH THIS ONE!
Lmao 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is so weird but so awesome. I now have a reason to go all the way down to Long Island 🤣
Me too!!

Incredible find and amazing C-sharp pitched motor! I will also echo with the few people who said this sounds like a Dover and say the same thing.
Now THAT is a rarity! Obviously, I know the motor is not original, and that 330As aren’t dry-powered, but this is an amazing find!

Where was that G-pitched HT installed?
It may be a HXPress modernization.
Because they do use dry power units. But this is very rare for a HT button installation.
Those are the original HT fixtures. Newer HTs don’t have the Schindler logo.
That's a great find! One time I found a ThyssenKrupp with that exact same motor! - Caleb from CJO Group
I cant unhear it without thinking of its original motor this doesn’t seem right. 😂
two words: EPIC MOTOR 👍👍😊
This is so strange and cursed for a Schindler 330A.

This was recently replaced.

W H A T
Sounds like a Dover hydraulic elevator
I've only found 2 other dry powered 330A's online. Very rare.
Where are these other elevators?

WOAH EPIC MOTOR!
I wonder who provided the motor. This definitely pushed this elevator to the top.
It's MEI. They're using a Maxton valve. They don't use EECO valves as much as they used to and anymore.
When was this put in and did the store always have a basement i know lake grove dont have one
2003. Galyan’s originally installed it. Basement is original and dates back to Gimbel’s.

Ok thanks
Sure is awesome for a Schindler
EPIC MOTOR!!!
0:14 time for the new motor!!
Dover Impulse much? Sounds just like one.
This is super cursed.
Indeed
*I hate this…too cursed*
