Idk about using someone else’s dead or cut hair to start your locs. Kind of backwards. Someone either sweat that hair up of a teligious buildings tiles as they were cut as part of religious meanings. Or it was old bc someone is truggling to live their everyday lives.
Imagine walking around with someone else’s pain suffering trauma happiness sad deas excitement etc in your head long term. Locs are a spiritual journey. Idk if anyone should start it off with someone else’s hair.
This is what we use to call micros back in the day just had knots a root instead of knotless now also they use to just curl the ends but I want to get someone to braid my hair n not use much hair very little I like this size parts dye Done

@Hannaworld246 hi and I'm very new to this young ladies channel, but I'm in love with him she has repurposed her old hair pieces. I'm not a professional, however I am a hair-doer and have been doing hair for many years and therfore I'm qualified to answer you. The answer to your question is YES you may use synthetic hair or a blend of synthetic to human however you like it. We use synthetic hair to block braids with all the time. Please understand that you will require more synthetic in doing this style hair, then if using human hair. 🎉

Omg I literally just did this with some kinky curly bundles I ordered from Amazon. Ladies definitely try this braiding pattern/method, you’ll get tons of compliments!!
P.s. this style took me 3-4 days to achieve mostly bc I have a busy work schedule and also did not pre part.

This hair would've been with me for at least 6...at minimum....washed and refreshed.....carry me on home hair lol.......but good on her to be able to have the time and energy and flexibility to take it down after such a short-time.....my life ain't set up like that

Good info Doc! I just wanted to say that back and forth from hot to cold is Definitely good for boosting the immune system. I’ve been sick and immune was compromised. After hot and cold shower session I felt much better in less than 24 hours. I also do this for my children when they are not feeling and having compromised immune systems .

So pretty as always...Back in the day I used to get reg curly hair and cut it from the weft like u did always came out so bomb.. and I'm that girl that would save it lol aye mama couldn't keep getting hair so with this hair ill def do it also would've been good to do this with knotless boho braids to the gurls been using human hair so this the best way Multi purpose ❤❤

I currently have been wearing butt length micros for 8 months . I do them over every 3 months 1 by 1. Next I’m going to do it with human hair. Cutting the old wig was a good idea.

I know this, because I had to quickly learn how to braid & style my own hair at Uni, in Plymouth, Devon, UK!
Back then, there were very few to zero hair stylists for black hair!!
And, the ones that were there, they either lived far or too were expensive or both!!
Not great for a starving black female art student😊😂.
So, moving from London to Plymouth for university, was a full-on culture shock for me but I grew to Love Plymouth, Devon & Cornwall, UK.

Wow you are definitely my kinda chic.. I can have the money for my hair but still choose to diy it..(when RA isn't bothering my hands😢... I just hate to pay a lot of money and still not have my hair full so I'll do it if I can...but I remember when I started doing my own hair back in 94' because I had about $25....enough to pay the braider OR buy my hair but not BOTH! 🤦 So I prayed and got my hair....then prayed some more.... this was before RUclips tutorials too..... I got to braiding like I was born doing it😮.. thank you Jesus because I had an event coming up....of course the very first time took awhile but after that I was on the roll 😁.... I love that we are some very creative people, that no one can take away from us🙌
Fact! I agree. Stylist charge too much not to be in love with the hairstyle after/ need to fix it when you get home. I’m so happy I learned how to do hair when I was younger as well. I remember being in the 4th grade practicing on my hair until I was good a braiding down to the scalp! Now look at us! All it takes is lots of practice then boom we got it and saving thousands of dollars 💕

I used to do my micros with FreeTress wavy hair and it would come out like this. Edge fatigue made me take a break for some years. Will try it with human hair next time. Beautiful job!
