    Why we are using a diode here?
    Without diode the same process will continue as like you explain. Is there anything special by using diode

    Thank you Sir...I have one doubt our aim is step down the output voltage... but u r explained due to the mosfet duty cycle output will come different... please elaborate practically... what is relation between voltage regulator and step down copper... please explain sir I have lot of confusion of both please...

    I have one doubt sir,
    Back emf of inductor direction is opposite to Vin according to lens law, if I am right diode will not become forward bias, because back emf current will flow towards the input.

    As per the reverse power chopper will on and off, reverse current will flow from load to input.
