  • In the midst of the Second World War, the M1 Helmet Net emerged as an essential accessory for soldiers donning the iconic M1 helmet. Its purpose was twofold: to provide camouflage in the field and to secure additional vegetation for added concealment. This intricately woven mesh, now widely recognized as a symbol of the era, has captured the attention of hobbyists and collectors alike.
In this video tutorial, we delve into the world of historical scale modeling, where the meticulous recreation of a 1/6 scale M1 Helmet Net pays tribute to the brave men who fought on the battlefields of WW2.

🪖 Constructing the M1 Helmet Net may seem like a challenging endeavor, but with patience and a step-by-step approach, it is a task that can be easily accomplished. The process becomes even more straightforward with the addition of acrylic paint mixed with olive and khaki colors for tinting the net.
Keep modeling your WW2 figure, keep building miniatures.

Absolutely, my friend! Try to find a 2.5 mm string and do the same procedure. It will be perfect!
