This customer dropped off his laptop to be diagnosed, which I spent a little over an hour on, and he purchased the LCD bezel on his own. After I told him what parts he needed he elected to buy them and bring everything back over once parts arrived. Well, he left the bezel and never came back to pay his bill or get the laptop fixed. No more free diagnosis!
Using food clips to keep the LCD and back cover together is a growing trend I see online & reddit!
